ArepaTX is inside Harvest Hall. Our experience with them was wonderful. Husband and son have celiac so we thought we could give arepas a try since they are made with PAM (corn flour) that is GF. There are some sources of cc since the grill where they heat up the arepas, it is also used to heat up flour tortillas. Same happens with their fryers. They are not dedicated so fried yucca (unfortunately) is not an option. Being all this said, this is why we are recommending this place. The cook took all precautions to make our meal safe. He changed gloves, heat up the arepas in aluminum foil and went over all the ingredients with us in case he was missing gluten somewhere. He wasn’t sure if the BBQ sauce was GF so he showed it to us and it indeed was. Yummy food and no reaction! I would suggest you visit this place when it’s not too busy so they can deliver the same service. Also, everything is cooked in front of you so you get a chance to add more recommendations if you feel that’s necessary.
