Kind of confused based on the raving reviews here. I walked in excited that multiple people felt this place was safe. When we asked what was gluten free, they said nothing was. I trust this app so maybe the woman was just having a bad day and didn’t want to deal with my dietary restrictions. Hoping one day I can try this place with ease! ☹️
No shared fryer! This means not all the arepas are GF as some of them had fried plantains or other fried bits. Ordered online and mentioned I had celiac and one of the people was nice enough to call me and tell me this. They amended my order. Everything was great, but the language barrier was a bit concerning as I had a hard time double checking whether some items were GF or not. The food was excellent and I would go again, just maybe for dine in to be more certain about the food status.
Delicious does not begin to explain the food here! They do not have a separate fryer so if you are sensitive, like me, stay clear of any fried items. Never had an issue with the food as far as reactions but make sure you are clear with the server if you are sensitive.
