I have a pretty bad gluten sensitivity, I am not able to eat at restaurants with a gluten free options because for the cross contamination. But in this restaurant I am able to eat with 100% certain i won’t have any reactions. Chicken soup, empanadas, any arepa sandwich and desserts are great.
What a wonderful feeling to be able to order anything off the menu. Had to take my food to go on the way to our hotel. After sitting for 25 minutes it was still AMAZING!!! The staff was so friendly. Such a welcoming place. You won’t be disappointed.
There is a sign outside that says 100% gluten free. The whole menu is GF! And the food was delicious (but I may be biased, I love Latin foods). Staff was friendly and the wait was quick (unlike other restaurants around). Friends said the pernil was dry but my chorizo cheese and avocado was amazing. They let me pick and choose what I wanted. I love that! They have dessert but I didn’t try it. The plantain cheese cake and chocolate cake caught my eye though.
Amazing place. Perfect place to go when you can’t eat gluten but you’d like to go out with people who are not on restricted diets. The food is Venezuelan and corn based, including arepas which were great. It all seemed to be food that was already naturally gluten free, so even those not on a gluten free diet really enjoyed it. Service was great. Highly recommend and would love to go back!
The entire restaurant is gluten-free, which makes it so easy to order. We didn't have to ask about ingredients or cross-contamination in the kitchen. Additionally, the food was incredible! We never knew how much we needed Venezuelan food in our lives until we ate here.
Absolutely delicious food! Perfect for my husband who has celiac. Because it’s a 100% gluten free restaurant, he didn’t have to worry about anything. We enjoyed our dinners...chorizo plate, beef arepa and a side of cheese empanadas. We highly recommend!
A dedicated 100% gluten-free facility. Delicious Venezuelan arepas with a choice for everyone (beef, chicken, pork, seafood, vegetarian, vegan). Desserts and coffee are also great. I highly recommend Arepera, we come by every time we are in town!
When we arrived, the line was out the door, which is a really great sign! This was my 1st time at a 100% GF restaurant, and it almost felt like Christmas. I dined with 3 friends who are not celiac, and they really enjoyed their meal. Though the sign states they close at 9, they continued to take customers until everyone was served. We stayed late to chat with one of the owners, who was very nice. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and certainly will be back!
