Eat here regularly, never been sick. Always have them mark my meal as GF allergy. Margaritas are $6 on HH until 5. Enchiladas are great. There is a small patio area that has Mountain View’s. Inside is a little crowded with tables close together but there are some booths that are more private. Counter order, no table service, must bus your own table too. And they ask for tip but you can decline or custom tip (the tips don’t actually go to the workers, the owner uses a portion of the tip money to donate and to take staff out ). Food and drinks come out quickly. Recommend! Eaten here several times without getting sick. Chips are in a shared fryer and are not gluten free.
We really loved this restaurant, as it reminded us of home…New Mexico. However, once we arrived to this restaurant, we learned that most of the food is not okay for my son with celiac disease. Everything is fried in the same fryer, so we were limited on what my son could eat. He ended up getting a beef and cheese street taco and didn’t feel well a little while later. Many of these reviews left me confused upon our arrival. This isn’t a knock on the restaurant…it’s delicious! Just want to warn those of you with celiac disease and are sensitive to any cross contamination.
Our favorite place to eat in Monument! It reminds us of food we ate growing up. They are super knowledgeable about allergies and lots of gluten free options. We love the Tamales, beans, rice and Street tacos! It is super easy to get things dairy free here as well. Definitely stop here if you are in monument.

So much of the menu is gf and they were very knowledgeable. The food was excellent and came out fast. Loved it!
Super friendly - the menu is clearly marked - and they make a sincere effort to communicate that they fry the chips in fresh oil in the morning - the queso was amazing!!
Very friendly family owned business. I have celiac and they always take care of me and are very knowledgeable of what is gluten free and what is not. Their green and red chili are gf. The enchiladas with green sauce are my fav!
Excellent restaurant- one of our favorites. Food is absolutely delicious, even the queso is GF!! Never had a reaction or issue with it. Highly recommend.
I got glutened!! Poor service, refused a coupon and forgot part of our order. Very disappointed. I'll stick with La Casa Fiesta if I go to Monument.
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The owners are awesome and really care about your experience. They are very knowledgeable about their products and what’s gluten-free. Highly recommend!!
Great food. Chips in dedicated fryer. No flour in the kitchen except flour tortillas. Delicious!
