I actually ate at the one on 350 S. in Lafayette. I didn't know Arnis did a gluten-free crust and had missed having their pizza since going gluten-free. It was pretty good but still not as good as the original. The crust is a lot thicker then the regular, I'm guessing so it doesn't fall apart when I cook it. The gluten-free pizza only comes in size medium which is their ten inch and it's an extra three dollars.
They do have a gluten free pizza crust but have no understanding of what gluten is. My pizza came out with fried chicken on it. I was blamed for the error, I was asked if they had killed me. I was offered a replacement pizza but at this point I was two bites in and realized the mistake. I didn't want a new pizza because at this point I was beginning to bloat and feeling nauseous. We had to pay for the pizza that only two bites had been taken out of. The crust was good though had the toppings been safe. No one was educated. I politely explained the issue and was informed that the kitchen staff would be advised of the issue for future patrons. Eat at your own risk, be very thorough with the wait staff. Otherwise enjoyable experience and would attempt to eat here again.
Excellent gluten free pizza. It tastes just like the normal Arni's pizza, and is affordable!!! Family friendly and just an all around nice place to dine. Been to several chains and each are consistent.
I hadn't had pizza in forever!! The gluten free pizza was amazing. Will definitely be a regular at Arni's once again!
Gluten free pizza WAS GREAT! Dough was thick but the pizza overall was tasty. Appreciated thorough description of efforts to maintain gluten free environment.
Great atmosphere, they have a gluten free crust that is ordered from elsewhere. It's a little plain and thick but you can top it with what you enjoy! They also have GREAT salads and all the fat free dressings are GF, because they are packaged. None of the homemade salad dressing are gluten free.
Called in advance to ask if a Gluten Free menu was available and was told "yes!" Get to restaurant and I'm handed a piece of paper the size of a business card to include pizza, bread sticks, soups and salad dressings. I decided on breadsticks and cup of chicken and wild rice soup. The breadsticks are a GF pizza crust cut into slices, the soup is cream based. After asking the server to double check the ingredients ...turns out it does have wheat! The rest of my family's meal was at best mediocre as well as the service. For the price...not worth it.
