Heck yeah. Small space with 4 tables. Can order ahead with barcode - except that you can only get the barcode in the store. The French roll they use for the banh mi sandwich is to die for. 100% GF.
PS: HQ says that stores will sell the GF French rolls for around $3.50 if you ask.
I learned the hard way that this is located in the International terminal of the airport. So, it is not accessible unless you are taking an international flight. I was so disappointed! Hopefully someday they'll add a location in one of the domestic flights terminals.
Soooo nice having a fully GF establishment at the airport. Loved being able to have a hot meal and not just snacks and no worry about getting CC’d/Sick on my flight.
Food was pretty good. They were out of the Spring Rolls. Sweet and sour didn’t taste like a traditional S&S. The curry was tasty.
Always great to have a gluten free option in a major airport. Asian box is one of my favorite places when I visit here! It’s in the international/G terminal which is a bit of a walk, but I didn’t have to pass through any checkpoints. The whole place is gluten free and they have tons of options!
it was nice to have a dedicated gf option at the airport, however the veggie curry I got wasn’t all that great. it was something instead of nothing, but it was very wet and i found that i really only ate the rice. its like chipotle style asian food so I’m not really sure what else i was expecting. but hey, its better than other airports with no options, so theres that! thanks to united airlines for my meal voucher!
This place is killer! I’m ready to book another flight through SFO just to go here. I wish they had a location near me. I had the pork bahn mi and the coconut mango rice. I wish I could have tried the Miss Jones, too, but I was stuffed. The bread for the bahn mi was incredible.
Always amazing. There's used to be an Asian box near my hometown and I was sad to see it changed locations. It was nice to find an Asian Box in an airport... airports are usually dead zones for celiac safe food. The food tastes amazing. The Boba is good and so is the Vietnamese iced coffee. Super yummy, husband and I both stuffed ourselves. It's located in the international part of the airport, but even if you are taking a domestic flight you can get to it. It's just a bit of a walk.
The food is delicious! It is wonderful to have access to such fresh veggies while traveling. The restaurant is located in the International Terminal G, so you’ll need a passport to get through TSA. If you are traveling domestically, just let them know you want to come to the restaurant. It is definitely worth it!
Wow. The reviewers were spot on! I had the coconut curry and pork and dare I say: one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Finding gluten free is such a chore and I am usually relegated to salad but here I could order anything. My kids and hubs also enjoyed their dishes. You can’t miss this place!
Located at the G gates, this is a MUST when you have some time at SFO airport. It was about a 15 minute walk from the D gates and worth every step and the 6 minutes it took to fire a bahn mi. DEFINITELY GET THE BAHN MI!!! The French baguette is phenomenal. It was pricey, but everything is pricey at the airport. 100% gluten free facility.
Worth the trek across the airport for a safe meal! I love the banh mi (their GF roll is unreal) but they really can do no wrong in my eyes. The curries are good, and the shrimp rolls are super fresh and delicious.
Vietnamese coffee, boba… seriously such a treat every time I come here.
There is a sign that says 100% gluten free by the restaurant, but they serve Bahn mi on freshly baked buns (maybe the bread is GF?) The food was tasty, large servings. One meal of 4 had maybe too much rice and minimal veg, Spicy Chicken. My daughter who is coeliac seem to fair okay.
