Such a fabulous bakery! I have additional sensitivities to oat products and there were lots of options to choose from. The pumpkin spice pop tart was to die for. Also, the folks that work here could not have been nicer.

Everything we had was so good. Like I can't believe my sausage breakfast sanwhich was both vegan and allergen free. My boyfriend (a gluten eater) also loved his sandwhich. The iced mocha was really great, just know they only have coconut and oat milk. The pop tart was bordering on too sweet, but that wasn't a problem for me. And my BF got one of the truffles, he said it was great! Sandwiches are made to order, so be prepared to wait a little. I felt like coffees also took some time to make, but I'm from New England, and everyone is in a rush there lol

i loved visiting askatu!! super friendly team & the goodies i got were *delicious.* i grabbed a strawberry filled pop tart & one of their classic twinkies. i also had a turkey pesto roll for lunch. was super impressed!!

The bakery is 100% gluten free and I had high hopes for it because they use great ingredients, unfortunately I was let down. I tried two of their tea cookies, a snickerdoodle cookie, a pop tart and a cinnamon roll (not all at the same time). They were all so bland and overly sweet. The only thing I could taste was sugar. The pop tart was the best thing I ate because it had more flavorful jam inside, but still much too sweet for me. I won't be going back. Also very expensive.

Limited choice but I had the turkey pesto roll. It was pretty good. Was hoping to Pick up some muffins or similar for later but choice was cookies or mini treats (looked a little odd). But was 100% GF so well worth the visit!

This little bakery is amazing! It is 100% GF. They also don’t use most of the top allergen ingredients like egg, nuts, soy etc. I had a snickerdoodle whoopie pie and blueberry hand pie and both were delicious. My daughter went crazy for the brownie. The staff member was knowledgeable and a delight to talk with. I will definitely be coming back here for more goodies.

I received a box of various treats for Christmas. They were all extremely delicious and I had no issues at all. It’s so nice to be able to have a treat and not worry about a reaction. I have been there many times since. No issues. I’m not sure why it is listed as not dedicated gluten free. It definitely is.

An AIP dream! Gluten and wheat free. Dairy, egg, soy, potato, nut, shellfish, corn and sesame free.

Everything was excellent! The banana loaf was so good. The truffles were delicious! I had my first sandwich in months their pesto was excellent!!!

They used to be good. Recently got glutened twice when I ate their sandwiches. Got cake for birthday and Nima test showed quite a bit of gluten (not just cross contamination). Further when I contacted them, they ghosted me.

Yes, everything here is gf. The stuff I got was admittedly only okay. The poptart was fine, with good filling flavor but a fairly flavorless crust. The crust held together but wasn’t remotely flaky, more a sandy texture. I also had tea cookies which tasted like their respective flavors but were lackluster. This is probably very good if you’re vegan and celiac or have another severe allergy and celiac, but otherwise it’s a miss for me.

got there right at close and they still helped us. got a pesto turkey sandwich, it was very small but good. i got light pesto and there was still a large amount of pesto but very good. there were very few options left when we were there, would go again but early.

I love the overall vibe of the place! Not only was it absolutely gluten free, the only dairy was for the coffee options. I got the banana bread and the bacon breakfast sandwich, along with a coconut milk hot cocoa. They were all delicious and hearty, great for lunch or breakfast

We each ordered a different sandwich for lunch and all were delicious. My favorite was the eggplant. My son also had a chocolate chip cookie that he said was delicious. Service was great and cafe was cute. Highly recommend.

Wonderful bakery and they are often at Farmer’s Markets. I love all of the sweet things including the whoopie cookie (like a big Oreo cookie). Outstanding focaccia.

Tried their Pesto Turkey sandwich which was GF, turkey deli meat and an housemade pesto sauce that was good. The portion is that of a small sandwich but if you get a pastry (like their GF oreos) it seems to be just the right amount of food for a lunch. Extra brownie points for their coffee and chai which was excellent.

The person at the counter (Elena) was SO nice and had great recommendations. Cookies are unbelievably good. The Ceci butter cookie is nut-free and just… wtf good. Tea cookies to die for. Coco raz magic bar? Decadent, as promised.

Sandwiches are just incredible. Bread fantastic and sandwiches feature a VARIETY OF STYLES OF BREAD! That’s such a rare treat!

Great place for people w celiac or many other dietary restrictions. Get here early for pop tarts! (We missed em but crap they look great.)

They’re also super great to their regulars! Awesome community hub—great people, welcoming, comfortable vibe, delicious food. 6/5!

Such an amazing bakery!! Top 8 allergen free which is such a treat!! We had a sausage breakfast sandwich which was surprisingly really good! A giant chocolate chip cookie, a cherry pop tart and a mini banana bread loaf! Everything was so good! Glad to support a local business and have it so safe for us celiacs!! ❤

I bought a loaf of sourdough and a brownie from Askatu at the farmer’s market, so I’m thrilled that they now have a store front. The sourdough was the best GF bread I’ve ever had. The brownie was a bit too sweet and lacking in the rich, indulgent flavor I love with brownies. But I would absolutely go back to support a small business and for the sourdough alone!

Celiac safe, allergy friendly, vegan by default but with meat options because they understand not all people with food intolerances or allergies can consume vegan protein sources. The food is delicious. The baked goods are epic. And the people helping me were SO kind and enthusiastic. Can’t wait to go back and try all the different options!

I had a cupcake and a Whoopi cookie. The cupcake was not good at all. It was moist was grainy or bean tasting. Would not recommend. The whopper cookie was okay. The icing was not good on either had an odd aftertaste.

We needed a birthday cake for my wife who was recently diagnosed with gluten and multiple other allergies. Askatu was the only bakery that could switch out ingredients to avoid all dairy, eggs, and potato! They were extremely responsive to my questions over email and even helped my low-tech mother-in-law find them over the phone for pickup. The cake was amazing and beautiful. They are the best!
