My wife (gluten sensitive) and I (celiac) had dinner at Avalon Gastropub. They are very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten-free issues. We both had cheeseburgers and they have gluten-free hamburger buns, which my wife said were excellent. (I couldn’t have them because they contain egg.) They also have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, so she had french fries and I had sweet potato fries. We shared a salad with a truffle vinaigrette. Everything was great. Also, it’s been 24 hours, and absolutely no symptoms of being glutened.
