Review of Avli River North

Had an enjoyable lunch at avli! They have a large heated partial outdoor patio. Cuisine is Mediterranean. Hummus was excellent and served with gluten free pita. I had the chicken skewers which the spices on them were outstanding. My husband had the beef medallions. Meat was tender and cooked perfectly but could have used more seasoning. He said he wished he’d ordered the chicken skewers. Both came with fries. Server explained that the fryer is a dedicated fryer because the only other item made in it is fried zucchini which is breaded in rice flour. Wait staff truly understands gluten free!
