Went for the pancakes but unfortunately, was told they were not celiac safe due to shared griddle. However, my server was also GF and walked me through every single item menu I could and could not have despite it being a busy Sunday morning. I ended up choosing a breakfast burrito on a GF wrap with a side of home fries and everything was really delicious!
I often visit Avon Country Deli for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, the meals are delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Their bread, especially, is made by pure love bakery. When I first started going, I kept calling the server back, convinced my sandwich couldn’t possibly be gluten-free—it was just that good. By the fifth time, I finally realized it really was a fantastic gluten-free meal! Highly recommend. I’m extremely sensitive and I’ve never reacted after eating there. The staff is well trained and always seem very cautious. They have a separate area for gluten free food prep and say they are vey careful.
This is our go-to breakfast joint for almost decade. Food is delicious and my celiac daughter always gets a GF breakfast sandwich, made on separate equipment with bread toasted in the oven.
