I came here because of positive reviews, but I unfortunately got glutened due to the server telling me at first the fried tortillas/chips were safe, and then coming back later to tell me they were not after I had already taken several bites of them. I had also brought my celiac card to the restaurant, which the waiter had even taken to the kitchen. As a vegetarian too, there were about 1-2 options on the menu, a salad and a cauliflower mole dish.

Great dinner spot for coeliacs looking for authentic Mexican food in a nice setting at a good price. Would highly recommend the fish tacos, duck tacos and guacamole plus the mezcalitas! They also have gluten free beer which is tough to find in Playa Del Carmen (although you can find some in certain 7-11s)

I’m Celiac and dined at this restaurant 3 times during our PDC trip. No issues. I indicated that was celiac each time I dined there and was guided by the server regarding the GF menu items. Stuck with the guacamole and then the tacos. Ate the duck, fish and then pork tacos and had no issues with anything. Highly recommend the spot.

Felt super safe eating here! Everything except one appetizer was gluten free. Ordered guacamole, fish tacos and duck tacos. All were delicious. The guac was the best I’ve had so far!

Nourriture excellente! Le menu est pratiquement composé que de SG. (Seulement 2 plats avec gluten) Je vous conseille le ceviche de crevettes coconut avocados. 330 pesos. Ce resto fait partie des meilleurs du Mexique! Bière sans gluten offert.

Totally blown away. Most knowledgeable of gluten of any restaurant that I’ve been to. All of the menu except for one item now is gluten-free. They have gluten-free beer. That was very tasty. Finally. The five course meal was absolutely stunning & more than delicious! My wife and I shared a single portion for both of us and it was more than enough. Everything was amazing. Service was amazing. This is rated one of the top 200 restaurants in Mexico and the best one. I’ve been in Playa …. although Oh La La was very close.

Went 2 nights in a row with our celiac daughter. It isn’t dedicated gluten free as indicated by another review, but there were only 2 things in the menu containing gluten. Incredible food and the best we have had in Mexico through the years. Casual, very cool vibe. We ordered a ton of different things, so we could taste as much as possible. Just excellent!

Very nice restaurant, upscale but casual vibe.

I’m celiac and df and had octopus tacos and shrimp ceviche. The ceviche was incredible!

Their chips are corn and baked so they are safe and no need to worry about the deep fryer. They bring a number of sauces/dips with chips to the table which were delicious.

Fabulous food and friendly atmosphere. Loved the shrimp appetizer and tacos. Very supportive of GF and DF diet. Went back the next day. Loved it!

Amazing!!!! Super accommodating with gluten and dairy free diets. Had an 8-course dinner with drink pairings (even GF beer) for a great price. Recommended by Rick Bayless and we agree with that!

Great service and food. Had the Mexican rice with plantains and they were able to make veggie tacos for me that were delicious. I will most likely be back before I go back to the US!

Entire menu was GF, excluding 2 desserts. Fantastic food and drinks!
