Has great gluten free handling
Fantastic pizza! Crust comes in its own pan. Pizza makers both washed hands and cleaned counter before anything else. One person followed my pizza as it was being made. Fresh ingredients! Was told to stay away from the meatballs. 😊 As pizza came out a team member said.. gluten free and the counter was cleaned and cutting utensils were removed and clean ones used. Best part..the pizza was delicious! No problems. Highly recommend!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Azzips! Very celiac friendly. They even clean off all of the services and switch pizza cutters for people with celiac. They ask if it is a preference or allergy and then they change their gloves wash their hands everything. We have gone several times and our daughter has never had any issues.
This is an amazing restaurant. They cook the food right in front of you and they change their gloves. I appreciate this place!
Easily my favorite gluten free friendly establishment in the area. You see everything right in front of you, and the staff are extremely friendly. They take care to clean off the stations, change gloves, and wash their hands before helping you.
The staff ask whether it's for a preference or an allergy. If it's an allergy, they change their gloves and wipe down the counter and are very polite about it. Pizza is great every time!
Gluten free and dairy free options!! Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about cross contamination.
Wonderful job cleaning workstations and changing gloves. One staff made a mistake of touching something that could cross contaminate and they all stared my pizza from scratch! Very impressed
We really like Azzip Pizza! Our 6-year-old son was recently diagnosed with Celiac, and he was SOOO excited to pick a pizza to eat here. They were very accommodating and seemed knowledgeable about GF. They wiped everything down, changed gloves, used a separate pan for the pizza, etc. The only concerning thing I saw was that when they wiped off the counter, they could have easily wiped crumbs straight into the toppings. Maybe opt for toppings further away from the counter. In hindsight, I probably could have - maybe should have - asked for fresh toppings out of the fridge, especially since our son just wanted cheese and pepperoni, and not anything complicated. Our son didn't have a reaction...but he has pretty silent symptoms. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here, and it was fun to have a place that worked for everyone in the family.
They were fantastic. They cleaned the prep area, washed their hands, got a new pan, and made sure that I had on new gloves. I always feel bad she. I have to make the line behind me wait while they prep the area. I apologized for the delay. The manager came out to my table and told me to not apologize, because they are trained and accustomed to providing good service. That really made me feel better. This was a great dining experience. Thank you so much.
staff was very knowledgeable. They were training new staff and they told her 'never make someone with a medical issue feel put out". They wiped down the counter, had dedicated mats for gf pizza, changed their gloves and had a dedicated pizza slicer. The crust was delicious.
They are very careful, however they do use the same ingredients as all the other pizzas. They change gloves and clean the utensils, but still reach in and out of the ingredients with contaminated gloves for everyone else's pizzas. It's amazing pizza, but eat with caution.
