I’m from IL, and found Azzip using this app. They are so thorough when cleaning when you say you have an allergy. The manager was super nice and helpful. The pizza was delicious, so much so I went twice in 2 days.

I was in Owensboro for our summer institute and we found this place. Very friendly and informative employees. They took our time to explain how it works. I am gluten-free by choice as to help with my Hashimoto's but the young lady asked if it was an allergyor by choice.. Very clean restaurant. I ordered a gluten-free crust pizza with various vegetables. Great place and I plan on going back when I'm up there.

Assembly line preparation, oven in the middle, cut and plate on the other side.I ordered a Gluten-free crust they asked if it was allergy. I said yes, she waited until the pizza ahead of me was finished being assembled. Washed the counter, put fresh gloves on. Pulled a crust from a closed box that was already in a disposable pie tin. Used ingredients from the same containers. Told the other side and they wiped counter, fresh gloved and cleaned the pizza cutter. I am celiac and felt very safe. I felt the risk of cross contamination from the same ingredients was minimal and I thanked the manager for giving me a safe a safe place to eat.

Pizza was excellent! I watched them change gloves and clean all areas. They also have 2 different GF crusts to choose from! I highly recommend when nearby!

Wonderful little pizza place! Told them my son and I have celiac and asked for new ingredients. They were very nice and very careful! Neither of us got sick.

I’m impressed about the steps that are taken to provide a safe space for preparing a GF pizza. They all wash their hands and change gloves. They wipe down all their surfaces. Put the pizza in a separate pan and run the pizza on the top shelf of the cooker. Overall a great experience.

I’ve never seen a restaurant take such good precautions when preparing a pizza for celiac. And the pizza is absolutely delicious! And not expensive! Win win win!!
