got a gluten free southwest chicken salad and sweet potato fries. was told nothing but fries went into friolator / it was safe for GF (another review said they were baked so not sure what the real story was on that) Really enjoyed my lunch.
My daughter has Celiac's. I informed them prior to ordering my daughter has Celiac's bread must be gluten free. My daughter took two bites it was not gluten free! They apologized, remade the food to be gluten free, and gave me a $15 gift card. Unacceptable. Will never go back.
Great service sandwiches and regular fries .
Not a huge location. Not super easy to get to. Food seemed smaller portions.
Good for GF fries as they are baked so no risk of cross contamination in fryer.
lots of gluten free menu options but staff really needs to be trained about cross contamination. Using naturally gluten free ingredients and offering a gluten free bun does not mean that you are safe for those of us with celiac- I asked specifically for the cooks to change their gloves, and was assured that they would by the manager, then watched as the kitchen staff prepared my food using the same gloves they had on and prepared other orders with- including handling the raw meat-They also put the gluten free bun on the exact spot where a regular bun was moments before- needless to say, I didn't eat my meal...
Really really good. Almost everything is gf. Burgers on a roll! Sweet potato fries are great. Lots of options. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The place is also comfortable. I often eat lunch alone and feel dorky in some restaurants. Here I felt very at ease. Best of all though was the food. I plan to be a regular.
Awesome staff! More then willing to accommodate to GF needs. They have gluten free buns and sweet potato fries, delicious!
Fantastic food and service. Very careful staff.
Absolutely horrible experience. Everything we ordered ran the risk of cross contamination and they were getting upset when I asked them to change their gloves and make a new burger when the cook added cheese to my burger after touching a non GF bun. Never again will we go there.
Fantastic service, knowledgable staff, and by far the BEST veggie burger I have ever tasted - gluten free or otherwise!
Excellent restaurant I ordered the Westside turkey burger with gluten free bun. Staff knew exactly what I could have. And best of all it's all local grown!
Got a smoothie and sweet potato fries. Not feeling great now, but I didn't ask what oil was used for the fries. There's a lot of opportunity for cross contamination with the open kitchen and Farro grains.
Love this place! They have gluten free buns and everything on the menu like the salads is marked gluten free. Local and healthy ingredients. The fries are all baked so they are safe to eat as well. When you're ordering the gluten free make sure to tell them celiac or an allergy if they don't ask to ensure special precaution.
I have had two out of three bad experiences in Marlton recently. It depends upon what staff is there. This week, they were short handed and the cooks were yelling at everybody. I saw the Grill guy handle buns and then my food with same gloves even though order clearly stated the gf "allergy". I've seen two different females handle buns and then pat the fries into their envelopes...by hand, with same gloves. They were nice about remaking my meal once, but they truly don't follow their own protocol. I have celiac. It matters.
They do honor gluten free but be aware they don't quite understand what it means to have celiac. I've had sauces "on the side" that contained gluten. Since my sensitivity is mild, I didn't get sick. But still - be aware. The food is fresh and local. Lately it seems of lesser quality but that might have been due to winter?
They were not careful I got so sick on their French fries and milkshake. I'm glad I didn't risk having a burger too. On top of not being careful with cross contamination service was horrible. A bunch of kids seem to run the place while too busy chatting with one another.
Great place. Kitchen Staff is pretty knowledgeable. One if them saved me from eating their bbq burger. Turns out their bbq sauce has soy sauce in it. I have celiacs and am pretty sensitive and I've had no reaction
Some GF options. But hopefully you will get a competent worker. My server had absolutely no idea what I was talking about and made me feel very uncomfortable about eating there. Got the only salad that was GF on the menu and didn't get sick! Will not be back. There are plenty of better options in the area.
Great new GF place with Salads, bowls, burgers and healthy smoothies. This is a welcomed addition to the new eateries on Market st in King of Prussia Town center
GF Udi buns. Upcharge is 99 cents compared to $2 at many other places. Asked if it was allergy or preference when I ordered. Sweet potatoes and regular fries are GF too. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the fries were room temp when they brought them out and they forgot a shake and had to go back and get it. Will def come back.
I had the West Coast burger on a GF bun and oven fries. The food was decent. They asked about my need for GF and I relayed it was for Celiac Disease. They changed gloves as my food went down the line but celiacs beware, there is a very good chance for cross contamination when they're busy. The food prep line is a crowded assembly line. I watched carefully for missteps so I felt okay eating that day, but I don't k ow that I would chance it all the time. They really need a dedicated space to make to allergy friendly food.
I've been here twice without major incident, but do be sure to double-check your order. Today I requested a turkey burger on a gluten-free bun (clarified when asked that it was an allergy, not a preference) and then received a veggie burger. I'm surprised no one caught that mistake (why would you go through the trouble of verifying an allergy and presumably following special protocol, only to put a veggie patty, which is NOT gluten free, on a gluten-free bun?) Note that I was literally the only person there, so it's not like I grabbed the wrong tray or something. Sweet potato fries were delicious, though! :)
Great find for families-- what celiac kid doesn't like burgers & fries... it's all very organic, so you don't feel too guilty about serving it to your kids. Fries are baked and staff was very careful about changing gloves, etc when making gf plates. Only reason, it's not 5-stars is that I wish it had kid-sizes (some b. good restaurants in CT) do.
Even though this is considered fast food, it's healthy, tasty and popular. Loved the Farm Stand Bowl with Quinoa, Kale, haloumi cheese, and a terrific sauce. It's easier to read the menu online & then go knowing what to order. Otherwise you are confronted with too much to think about as a newbie.
I'd like to thank b.good for having many GF choices and properly training your staff. They are knowledgeable and empathetic which really means a lot to those of us struggling with food issues. I witnessed witnessed true care and consideration while preparing my food. They were very conscious to change gloves and verify things with me. The Food is delicious ..I took prior posts suggestions..the burger was great..the ketchup is good and the sweet potatoe fries and glten free dairy free smoothie is yummy. So happy I found b.good Special Thanks to Chris who took my order and the entire staff who looked after me as if I was family. They really get it here.
used to be our favorite gf take out. new management is not great on celiac friendly. I had to watch and ask them to change gloves, keep burgers off Grill with regular buns, keep rolls away from regular buns etc. bad night not sure if we'll go back. new employees didn't seem aware of gf issues, miss the old employees who knew my kids by name and took care of them!
