Fantastic for celiacs! I told the cashier that I have a gluten allergy and they have gluten free buns (right on the regular menu) so I got a turkey burger with that and it was so good. Definitely go here!
Delicious food and reliably knowledgable staff about the gluten free options with their burgers. The salads are amazing and even though I hate being forced into ordering a salad when I go out in order to be gluten free, I choose to order them here if I'm not in a burger mood.
Have to read a printed book to find ingredients, but worth the time. Grilled chicken in gf bun excellent!
my star rating is sort of a average based on 3 people who dined together. I am the one with the gluten issue, my wife often chooses to eat Gf, and our son only when forced to. my burger, the El Guapo on a udi's bun was fine and tasted real good. however they totally messed up my wife's order and gave our son the wrong fries. my wife ordered a regular cheese buger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun; like red robins. instead she got a bacon cheese burger - she does not do bacon - on a bun and the wrong fries. to correct it they plopped a buger in a box, added a piece of unmelted cheese and a piece of lettuce. ya didn't feel warm and fuzzy and welcome.
Yum! I had a Cousin Oliver burger with a gluten free bun, and sweet potato fries. You can see right into the kitchen, and I watched the chef change his gloves at least 5 times while he was making my burger, being careful not to cross contaminate. And since the fries are baked, there's no worry of fryer cross-contamination!
Cool burger joint with good options. Their gluten free bun actually didn't crumble when you pick it up! One thing to keep in mind is their veggie burger is NOT gluten free (but their beef and turkey burgers are)
Love the Udi's buns try carry and the salads are amazing. FYI - chicken sandwich has soy sauce - NOT gluten-free!
Great burgers and baked fries
Staff was sweet, but this was the only thing I ate yesterday, not from my kitchen, and I got sick. Could be cross contamination. Many opportunities for this but the tried. Possibly dust in the air or the fact that they cleaned the vents while prepping food
They advertise a gluten free bun, but didn't tell me there are bread crumbs in the veggie burger until I got there and they had to re-make it with beef. I also have an allergy to soy so maybe there was soy somewhere in what I ordered (I'm usually very careful), but I had the Adopted Luke and my stomach had a reaction.
Love this place! They have gluten free buns and everything on the menu like the salads is marked gluten free. Local and healthy ingredients. The fries are all baked so they are safe to eat as well. When you're ordering the gluten free make sure to tell them celiac or an allergy if they don't ask to ensure special precaution.
I have had two out of three bad experiences in Marlton recently. It depends upon what staff is there. This week, they were short handed and the cooks were yelling at everybody. I saw the Grill guy handle buns and then my food with same gloves even though order clearly stated the gf "allergy". I've seen two different females handle buns and then pat the fries into their envelopes...by hand, with same gloves. They were nice about remaking my meal once, but they truly don't follow their own protocol. I have celiac. It matters.
They do honor gluten free but be aware they don't quite understand what it means to have celiac. I've had sauces "on the side" that contained gluten. Since my sensitivity is mild, I didn't get sick. But still - be aware. The food is fresh and local. Lately it seems of lesser quality but that might have been due to winter?
They were not careful I got so sick on their French fries and milkshake. I'm glad I didn't risk having a burger too. On top of not being careful with cross contamination service was horrible. A bunch of kids seem to run the place while too busy chatting with one another.
Great place. Kitchen Staff is pretty knowledgeable. One if them saved me from eating their bbq burger. Turns out their bbq sauce has soy sauce in it. I have celiacs and am pretty sensitive and I've had no reaction
Some GF options. But hopefully you will get a competent worker. My server had absolutely no idea what I was talking about and made me feel very uncomfortable about eating there. Got the only salad that was GF on the menu and didn't get sick! Will not be back. There are plenty of better options in the area.
Great new GF place with Salads, bowls, burgers and healthy smoothies. This is a welcomed addition to the new eateries on Market st in King of Prussia Town center
GF Udi buns. Upcharge is 99 cents compared to $2 at many other places. Asked if it was allergy or preference when I ordered. Sweet potatoes and regular fries are GF too. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the fries were room temp when they brought them out and they forgot a shake and had to go back and get it. Will def come back.
I had the West Coast burger on a GF bun and oven fries. The food was decent. They asked about my need for GF and I relayed it was for Celiac Disease. They changed gloves as my food went down the line but celiacs beware, there is a very good chance for cross contamination when they're busy. The food prep line is a crowded assembly line. I watched carefully for missteps so I felt okay eating that day, but I don't k ow that I would chance it all the time. They really need a dedicated space to make to allergy friendly food.
I've been here twice without major incident, but do be sure to double-check your order. Today I requested a turkey burger on a gluten-free bun (clarified when asked that it was an allergy, not a preference) and then received a veggie burger. I'm surprised no one caught that mistake (why would you go through the trouble of verifying an allergy and presumably following special protocol, only to put a veggie patty, which is NOT gluten free, on a gluten-free bun?) Note that I was literally the only person there, so it's not like I grabbed the wrong tray or something. Sweet potato fries were delicious, though! :)
Great find for families-- what celiac kid doesn't like burgers & fries... it's all very organic, so you don't feel too guilty about serving it to your kids. Fries are baked and staff was very careful about changing gloves, etc when making gf plates. Only reason, it's not 5-stars is that I wish it had kid-sizes (some b. good restaurants in CT) do.
