Despite taking all my usual precautions (calling ahead, asking about cross contamination, etc) they still failed. My friends and I came on a busy Sunday and though I was told they had a dedicated waffle iron, they decided they needed it for all waffles that day because of the rush. The chef came out and offered to make me pancakes but wasn't happy about it. The batter he used was sitting next to the normal gluten-containing batter with no lid on. Thankfully I did not get sick but I was extremely nervous. Plus, they didn't compensate or apologize. Frustrating experience.
