I really like this place, atmosphere, flavors, drinks, and the staff. However, I got some gluten symptoms after eating the Saigon Singapore Noodle dish. I did mention the disease and enjoyed the food but it didn’t treat me well.

Asked if the tofu is fried in a shared fryer, and the waiter went back to the kitchen to ask. He came back and said “the chef says you shouldn’t eat any of our food.” He took my soup away but still charged my friend for her appetizer.

Delicious dinner. GF items were marked on the menu and it seemed like almost everything was GF. The wings were so good. My bean thread dinner was delicious. Dedicated fryer for GF items per very knowledgeable waiter.

This used to be a safe place for me because they seemed knowledgeable and super gluten-free friendly. That has definitely changed in the past year. Tell me why I learned for the first time today that they boil the rice noodles in the same water as wheat noodles!! This is crazy to me as they have never told me this before, I’m super disappointed in one of my favorite restaraunts. The waiter was super nice and staff is always amazing, but unfortunately I won’t be coming here again

Definitely not celiac friendly even though menu states GF. No dedicated fryer and all noodles including those with gluten are cooked in the same water. The macarons are kept in the same case as gluten pastries and waitstaff said there is cross contamination is handling. Really unfortunate.

They don’t care about your food allergies or sensitivities. Noodles cooked in contaminated water. Spring roll supposedly gf but I’ve heard different things from different servers. Sub par Vietnamese food anyway. There are MANY better places for pho and bun in Seattle.

Not safe. Tried to order takeout from their First/Capitol Hill location and was told they cannot make their pho GF. This is horrible given they directly advertise on their menu “everything on our menu is gluten free unless it displays this icon”, of which the Pho we were trying to order did not.

The menu says that everything is gluten free unless indicated but be aware that they cook all noodles and dumplings in water shared with glutenous noodles and are not willing/able to prepare separately.

Our waiter claimed chinese doughnuts were fried in same fryer as everything else, contrary to other reviews.

He also claimed the congee had gluten (it was marked gluten free on the menu) and seemed dubious about the kitchen preparing Pho gluten free (ultimatly they did). He also suggested that we not worry about cross contamination because "other people with celiac didn't have a problem."

Dont know if just a new uneducated server, but enough red flags we likely won't return.

Food was tasty but not significantly better than our local, much cheaper Pho place.

Nothing is fried that isn’t made of rice so fryer is GF. Our server said if you ever get pho, let them know you are GF and they will be sure to make the rice noodles in a separate pot.

I was happily surprised by how many gluten free options they had! I had delicious chicken pho and my boyfriend had an amazing noodle/salad dish and both were gluten free. Quick service and good prices as well!

The food is yummy. But you need to walk the staff through the fact you have celiac disease and what that means. I think this is part and parcel of having celiacs. I have eaten here numerous times and been grand. My go to phrase is 'I have celiac disease, is it safe for me to eat here' You are responsible for your health and well being, not the restaurant. If it doesn't feel right try something else.

Changing my review because upon coming here a second time I had a terrible experience. They brought out fried egg rolls with my food even after my whole spiel about my celiac disease. Then they took it way, took the egg rolls off the plate and brought back the same plate (which was unfortunately unsafe for me) my boyfriend and I asked them if they did that and of course they denied it. They are not educated on celiac here and obviously don’t care. If you have celiac stay away.

Great restaurant with gluten free options but very busy and at the time we went, had multiple options unavailable. Food was great and service was decent. I would love to go again but maybe at a different time in the day.
