I’m really disappointed after the change of ownership. I have Celic and are very gluten sensitive. This used to be one of my safe spots to eat and the staff used to be very knowledgeable and accommodating. When I went on Saturday I was told by the cashier that almost everything was gluten free EXCEPT the fries, wings, (contaminated by the bread pudding in the fryer) pizza, sandwiches, nachos, Mac n cheese and everything is prepared on the same assembly line so anything that is gluten free would get contaminated. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity. It’s sad that a restaurant I used to love I now can’t eat at. 🙁
Sad to see the change in ownership. Found them originally in their old location the first summer after I was diagnosed celiac and he really understood gluten free. These folks weren't knowledgeable. I went will the pulled pork and baked beans. Meat is not as flavorful on its own but was pretty good.
The owner has changed since the last reviews were written and the food was still fairly safe since I am not celiac, but they could not guarantee that any of the sides were gluten free. The fryer was also cross contaminated with the bread pudding dessert. Not sure if it always is, but it was at lest today. Other than that, the food was really good!
An amazing BBQ place where ALL sauces are GF!! They don't just have your normal "sweet" or "regular" sauces...these are homemade award winners! Our favorites are the pit style and mustard based, both of which are hard to find in most places. They have GF fries too! I did not get sick after an awesome meal. Highly recommended. Tell all your friends, too!
