I am gluten intolerant and lactose intolerant. I ordered the sesame gluten free bagel of which there are three GF choices. The rest of the bagels are made with gluten at this facility and they have about 50 different varieties for those that can eat gluten. They show bagels with all kinds of fillings which makes it easier to pick. They also have 20 different flavours of cream cheese to go on the bagels. My GF sesame bagel was soft, moist and chewy, the way a bagel should be! Mine was an egg sandwich with pastrami which tasted wonderful! It was huge and filling so I saved the other 1/2 for another day:)
was a little nervous to go here since it seems like there may not be the best cross contamination procedures (and i don’t know my sensitivity level) but i’m happy to say i didn’t get any adverse symptoms afterwards
it’s a good bagel with a shit ton of cream cheese (i feel like i got my own container’s worth) and i added some eggs. but because there was so much cream cheese, i couldn’t really finish bc it turned into a mess so fast (just a warning if that’s not your thing!)
it’s a cute place and also has pretty good coffee. obviously there was more non-gf options so if you’re going with a group, they’ll have a lot to choose from
Phenomenal!! Absolutely the best GF bagel that I have had…ever. Only wish I had discovered BTS earlier. The texture and taste of the everything bagel was perfect. The coffee was also excellent.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. I’m so glad I found it and will make it a priority to visit again next time I’m in the city.
Excellent GF sesame bagel toasted egg sandwich! I’m not Celiac, but have a gluten sensitivity and my daughter has Hashimotos. We both enjoyed our breakfast. I can see though how celiac may struggle with cross contamination.
They had 3 different types of GF bagels.
[edit] We went back twice as the bagels were so good. Definitely ask for the GF bagel to be toasted as it’s much better.
The GF bagel sandwiches are so good. I came here last summer and I’ve been thinking about going back ever since. I’m back in the city and this is my first stop for a delicious and filling breakfast. I’m gluten sensitive so it works for me but I’m sure there’s cross contamination. The have vegan cream cheese too.
CANNOT AVOID CROSS CONTAMINATION WITH GLUTEN. If you are severely sensitive like me then do not go here. The GF bagels are frozen and MUST pass through the conveyor oven with all other bagels. Staff was unwilling to wrap bagel in foil to safely pass thru conveyor oven or wipe down griddle to warm up that way.
