Bahrs Landing Seafood Restaurant & Marina

I had a wonderful experience at this place! Lots of the menu is marked GF. The servers are extremely kind and cheerful, and the prices are on the high side but I feel as if they are not unwarranted. My food was very good and so was the rest of my parties. I ordered the twin steamed lobsters. The lobsters were wonderfully steamed. I also inquired about GF desserts, and my server went to check in with the kitchen, and came back to say that there was nothing safe for me because of cross contamination. I’m very thankful for that because lots of places would allow me to run the risk of cross contamination without letting me know. I’ll be back.

Amazing gluten free options! More than half the menu is gf and I have never had an issues with cross contamination. This place takes extra care for gluten allergies

The staff was very rude and when we said someone in our party had celiac disease they said they didn’t know what that was and they couldn’t tell us what would be safe to eat or not. Immediately walked out. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I dont know if I just got them on a bad day or what, but I called in q burger with no bread and stated I was celiac. I went to cut up my burger and there was half a wheat bread bun under the burger. I would never trust them to serve gluten free food, qnd I will never eat there again. I did not call to complain because I got up at 2qm to fish sandy hook qnd did not go to eat my first meal of the day until 4pm, but extremely disappointed that they put themselves on this app, as that is the only way to get on here, qnd they obviously do not care. Do not waste your time if you need to be gluten free.

The staff is so knowledgeable and the head chef is also gluten free. So many choices and such great food
