We travelled a long way to this bakery because of the good reviews on this app but when we arrived, all the GF items were in the same cabinet as the non-gluten items and the lady said they weren’t coeliac safe and they couldn’t get any uncontaminated GF items for me from out the back. So I was quite disappointed that I couldn’t eat anything here as the food all looked delicious. If they had the GF items separated, more people could eat here.

Lots of beautifully presented GF treats on the top shelf of the cabinet. Delicious GF smashed avocado on toast. The fries were not GF which was disappointing. The GF donuts were sold out by the time we arrived for lunch.

A large selection of gf and coeliac safe food. All gf cabinet food was placed on the top shelf. I had a great quiche with delicious gf pastry Staff well aware of coeliac safety requirements

High quality food, made and stored in a safe environment, well separated from non-gf items. We’re happily surprised by the variety and how beautiful all things looked. One of the best bakeries I’ve been in NZ so far.

Absolutely amazing! I was taking to the staff and she said that all their gf products are stored, made and baked separately. They had an accident about 5 years ago where someone accidently grabbed a non gf product thinking it was GF and she got really sick. Ever since they've been very careful and everything is individually labeled as GF and stored/served separately. They have an EXCELLENT cabinet range (both sweet and savoury) and the food is delicious 😋

The most INCREDIBLE sweet cabinet with GF options. We got banoffee pie, caramel choc brownie and lemon donut all were phenomenal. Plenty of GF options on the menu for breakfast.

Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious sweet and savoury options which are presented beautifully. I’ve had the gluten-free corn fritters which were served with bacon and corn and avocado salsa. There’s many elegant desserts on the top shelf of the cabinet.

Excellent smashed avo on gf toast with a poached egg. Also had to sample the peanut slice. All labelled gf but let them know it’s an allergy and they clean the tongs. Great food and no reaction.

The food was amazing! Multiple options marked on the menu. Display case had rows of gf items that were delicious. I was disappointed that they had sold out of gf doughnuts when we got there at 11:30am - go early!

Only potential problem was that we ordered 2 scrambled eggs, 1 gf and 1 not, and there was nothing to mark them. Waitress had to confirm with kitchen.

Def worth a stop!!!

This place is great and like others have said the donuts are amazing. The staff are really good and asked if the Eggs Benedict I ordered were for Celiac which is good. I will definitely be going back when I'm next in Taupo.

Most delicious GF donuts!!! I have not tasted such delicious donuts in my 12yrs of being coeliac. GF Banana banoffee was gobbled up by my non GF Husband, who gave it a thumbs up. Bacon & egg tart, the inside was delicious but typical gf pastry on outside, bit doughy for my taste. I will be going back for a different flavour donut tomorrow!🤭

On the back of reading other reviews we chose to stop here for my teenage Coeliac son and I on our road trip over Christmas. The food looked amazing and tasted just as good. As per other reviews, I highly recommend the gf donuts and the Banoffi Pie. The corn fritters were the best I have ever tasted. We loved it so much we stopped there again on our way back home.

This place has the most amazing GF donuts!! So delicious. Barely tell they are GF. They are filled with cream/custard and have chocolate, salted caramel, lemon and berry. Highly recommend. Go early so you don't miss out!

Such a great experience. One of the staff members I spoke to was coeliac herself, and assured me she had never had a problem eating there. Gave me so much confidence! They cleaned the milk steamer for me in case had been used for oat milk. As stated in other reviews, gf food both sweet and savory is on different cabinet shelves and is delicious :)
