Amazing food! Many GF options, even dessert! I had the sausage and carmalized onion pizza and it was delicious! We also started with the GF spinach and artichoke dip which was incredible! Definitely go here!

Top notch. Very friendly staff. The manager serves all gluten free dishes himself; they use different plates to make sure there's no confusion amongst staff. I got a chicken dandwich and salad that were excellent, especially the toasting on the bread. Partner got the pepperoni pizza. We got a chocolate lava cake for dessert. Every dish was tip notch and we could eat worry free.

This place was great! Our server was super knowledgeable and made sure to know that my GF preference was due to an allergy. I got the pepperoni pizza and their pizza crust is very thin but still really great. The crust wasn't burnt or anything and actually seemed handmade and not premade which is a plus to me. It was also a great size. I've had a $20 gf pizza that was half the size and left me still hungry. Our server mentioned they had a GF lava cake and it was so good!!! Served with a big scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. Will eat here again!

We were on our way to Virginia Beach from Ohio and were so hungry we could eat our arms. I got the Gf smash burger, the wine country salad and my husband got the Charleston chicken sandwich (not gf). I made specific instructions to remove any gluten from my dishes if needed, to use separate utensils, change gloves, etc and THEY DELIVERED! I’m not sick at all. The bun was crispy and the burger was juicy and perfect with all the fixings. The salad was amazing! My husband liked his sandwich but wishes there was more sauce on it. Highly recommend if you have celiac

I love their gluten free margarita pizza, haven’t been disappointed by it yet. Also haven’t gotten sick and I’m celiac and pretty sensitive to gluten.

As we walked in, we were told, " I can tell you righ ,now, we're not going to be able to seat you."
Was it because we had children with us?
Or was the hostess just a rude person?
Doesn't matter, we walked out.
I recommend you go somewhere, where they care about their customers.

This restaurant is under new management with NEWLY TRAINED staff! While there were issues of cross-contamination years ago, the restaurant has worked to speak with staff and customers who have celiac and gluten-free needs to better understand and ensure our safety. This restaurant is great with gluten free foods and allergens! The manager brings out the entree of a plate specifically marked to let the kitchen staff and servers know it contains an allergy so no one touches it. The staff ALWAYS changes their aprons and gloves and uses specifically marked utensils and prep areas including scrubbing the grill if necessary. I am HIGHLY sensitive to cross-contamination and have never had any issues here (12+ times in dinning here). Not only do they do their best to guarantee safe kitchen prep areas, much of the staff are gluten free, celiac, or have other allergens and understand the necessity of keeping us safe! This food is safe, but also delicious! HIGHLY recommend!!
There are a lot of gluten-free options and the portion sizes are large! I am HIGHLY sensitive to cross contamination and have never had any issues (12+ times in eating here). The food tastes great and they work hard to get the best brands and ensure our safety. Much of the menu is already gluten-free it can be easily modified to be safe. The food tastes great! Highly recommend!
The food is locally sourced and owned. The bar has handmade cocktails and much of the food is homemade. I highly recommend for those with gluten-free needs, celiac, and their friends and family!

Cross contaminated there. Once I was fine and the second time I went I got severely cross contaminated! Stay away if you have celiac disease.
Amazing GF menu!! Mac and cheese, burgers and pizza

Celiacs beware!!! I would give 1 star, but we had an ok experience once before our most recent fiasco. Many GF options for this area, but the kitchen staff are extremely poorly educated of GF needs. I ordered a GF pasta dish. About 20 minutes later, as my husband's food came out, our server informed me they were out of GF pasta. When she went to get the food to serve me, she noticed the pasta didn't look right. The kitchen was out of GF pasta, but instead of informing our server to have me order something else, they made the pasta & plated the dish with regular pasta AND DIDN'T TELL ANYONE!!! Had our server not realized something didn't look right, I would've been served a regular pasta meal!!!! Yikes! The manager comped my meal, but I ate 45 minutes after my husband. GF food quality is good--probably the best in the area, but if you are extremely sensitive or have Celiacs, I would steer clear!!!! It's like Russian roulette with what type of meal you'll be served.

as soon as I sat down they asked if I wanted a gf menu! and it was a good bit of options! great way to start my day!
Their gf salmon salad is delicious. Never had a reaction here.

Good variety of GF menu items! Service was lovely. My sandwich was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed to find that it was served on that generic Udis sandwich bread. I also wish I could've had the house chips, but sadly they weren't available as gf for some reason.
Gluten free pizza is yummy but not sure about why the breakfast (easiest meal to make gluten free) is not gluten free. They have gluten free bread for toast.
***The Managers and Wait Staff at all locations need to know the difference between gluten and wheat allergy, gluten and wheat intolerance and Celiac Disease.
Celiac friendly: ONLY for lunch and Dinner. NOT breakfast.

The food itself is 4 stars. The decor, atmosphere, and most of the staff get at least 4 stars. However, our waitress was ignorant and rude.
Pros: Food. We were in for a light dinner and ordered the Fennel Sausage GF pizza. As clearly stated on the menu, the pizza is cooked in a pan, yet in the same oven as the other nonGF pizza. We can tolerate minor cc, so this risk was minimal to us. The pizza was nice. Not incredible, but certainly in the higher range of pizza crust, taste-wise. As other reviewers have mentioned, some of the edges of the thin crust were over done, but the crust had pretty good depth of flavor and the toppings were quality.
Pros: the atmosphere was lovely! Cozy and chic. The host didn't bat an eye at our request for gluten-free menus. The wait staff seemed attentive and the food arrived In a timely manner.
Con: our waitress was horrible. I asked how large the gluten-free pizza was and she seemed uncertain if they offered GF pizza, in spite of the pair of us holding GF menus. Then she remembered herself and asked if we had an allergy. I said no, we did not and that we saw it was cooked in a separate pan and that was fine. She stumbled again over an abbreviated explanation of the pans and then said "it definitely isn't an allergy? Because the chef said no one with an allergy should eat it and some others have tried it and said it tastes like cardboard." And then she looked at us expectantly as though we would just change our order to something regular. I told her that we wanted the gluten-free crust. Then she said "so this is just for healthy diet...?"
I told her that no we had a sensitivity, not an allergy, but the gluten-free pizza would be fine as it was prepared.
My boyfriend did not hear her make the comment, but he was rattled by her rudeness when I told her what she said. I had to talk him down from confronting her. I was ready to brush the entire thing off as ignorance, as offensive as it may have been.
I'm not sure whether she heard our conversation, or if she realized how offensive her comment had been, but that was nearly the last we saw of her. She blatantly avoided our table--another waiter brought out our food and cleared our plates. Several times our waitress came to check on the table next to us, but never acknowledged us. We never got refills on our drinks or the chance to ask for them. She nearly threw our check to our table, reaching over the divider. She picked up and returned our payment card with minimal acknowledgement.
It is a shame that, after first insulting our food options to our face, that she acted like a child and became downright rude as the evening went on. As I said, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I hope that our waitress takes a little more time to at least make herself aware of the menu options and the details that accompany GF dishes. Sad that she was poor enough to drop a star from this review.

The staff was incredibly nice and the manager came over and asked if it was a dietary choice or if I had celiac and was very knowledgeable and kind. The pizza crust was fantastic! Best I've had so far in VA. Very flavorful. I'll be back soon.
Update: when I went first they had an amazing gf crust. Pretty sure they're just using a restaurant-sized Udi's crust now. REALLY not worth the price. If they get the old crust back, I'd be more willing to pay the price for it. The broccoli/chicken pasta dish is very tasty, though, and I've ordered it on two occasions! The burger I had on a fourth visit was good, but pretty ordinary.

Great gluten free pizza! It's a little burnt on the edges though. Also they are super stingy about discounts. The first time I was told that I could not order $5 pizza on a Thursday while I was dining in to get Togo when I finished my meal because it wouldn't be "dine in". The next week I went in and they told me I could not get the $5 pizza special because I was getting gluten free pizza so I had to pay full price. They also do not use a dedicated facility so only go here if you don't have celiac. Luckily I only have mild gluten intolerance.

Awesome gluten free menu. BUT....Call ahead to ensure they have the yummy gluten free pizza crust. They didn't have any on this April 21st visit. April 23 for breakfast. ..... my rating 2. Started off telling me that they are not gluten free until later and kept calling it an allergy. Celiac Disease is not an allergy. I will not be returning. Eggs cold, bacon burnt, decafcoffee dark and was not good and waitress not attentive enough. I love the other Baker Crust locations

Excellent service and separate GF menu. We had fennel sausage and caramelized onion pizza which was delicious. My son also had a double decker burger and he said it was one of his top 3 in VA Beach! Excellent staff and service too. Owner greeted us with soup and chip samplers since it was our first time there.
