This location is closed as of May 2022. They have another location in Oakdale. We eat there often and they are excellent for girls free food, including a dedicated fryer!

Wonderful. TONS of options. Dedicated fryer for all gf options
Highly recommend the egg foo young.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. They have a dedicated fryer and I have never had an issue with any of their dishes. Almost everything on their giant menu can be made gluten free!
Staff helped show me what I could have on the menu and was very careful and knowledgeable.
Yes
Amazing food and fast, efficient service!! Almost every single thing on the menu can be made gluten free, AND they have a dedicated GF frier! The menu clearly labels what is/isn’t gluten free, but they are also able to modify most other menu items to make them GF. Great food, and I highly recommend to any celiacs!!
Yes
So so good! Separate fryers! Pho to die for! I always feel safe going there which is hard sometimes with Celiac. 10/10 recommend.
Yes
Impressed by the amount of gluten free options (I initially thought there weren’t many but the menu opens and is several pages long).
I had the GF/vegetarian egg rolls and some sort of vegetarian sushi (can’t remember exactly what I ordered). The egg rolls were great, but I wasn’t a fan of the sushi (preference, not relating to food safety).
I’m a celiac and did not get sick. I will be returning to try more options. There were many options for gluten free/vegetarian as well!
Yes
I was disappointed by how few options there were. None of the entrees (like sesame or orange chicken or pho) were available GF. Just a couple salads, hot and sour soup, spring rolls and egg rolls. That being said, I had the GF spring rolls and seaweed salad and felt no symptoms after, so at least it seems GF safe.
Yes
Food was delicious. GF Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, & Sushi. Will definitely be back!

So many options and it was delicious. Gluten free fried rice was so good!!
Amazing food and tons of GF options. They said they cook the GF items separately with separate utensils, etc. My favorites are their sesame chicken with fried rice and their curry. I have never gotten sick here.
Yes
The gluten-free orange chicken is the best I’ve ever had. I was so happy to find this place because their gluten-free chicken is breaded and still gluten-free! They also have gluten-free fried rice which is a huge plus. They can get pretty expensive but the food is good and safe.
Yes
California roll and chicken pho is a must when coming here. Both are gluten free. The owner also makes gluten free cookies.
Yes
Amazing food, so many dairy free and gluten free options. I recommend the sesame chicken and fried rice.

Gluten free Orange Chicken, Sesame chicken, egg rolls, fried rice, etc.! Delicious and very good service!
Extensive menu of multiple Asian cuisines. The management is very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Yes
Friendly staff, good food-- however, if you want your eggrolls or chicken crispy make sure to order it extra crispy. They are very good at adjusting menu items to your liking! gluten free sesame chicken brought back memories of days of gluten past. Same with the chinese fried rice that is also able to be made gluten free!
This is our favorite restaurant for date nights! We have never had any issues. My husband is gluten sensitive, but I am not. I have to say that the gluten free sesame chicken is much tastier gluten free!
The food is ok but its not completely gluten free. My server did not know about cross contamination in the fryer and i had to specifically ask for my food to be cooked separately. However, I still got really sick. I would not recommend going here if you are at all sensitive. Additionally, the pad thai sauce was over poweringly fish saucey but the vietnamese egg rolls were really good!

The owner is incredibly friendly and very supportive of those of us that have to be gluten free. They have a large variety of options and large portions. Also, I have to disagree with prior posts, I do not think the gluten free options are overpriced at all! It is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is the first time I have been able to eat Asian food without getting sick in over 7 years. I highly recommend and we will definitely return!
My favorite restaurant for gluten free food. They have recently updated their menu, and almost all of the offerings are available as gluten free for an additional charge of $1. I eat a moderately low carb, gluten-free, almost paleo diet, and I can always order a tasty entree with a lot of fresh vegetables and my choice of meat. And now that Massuman Curry and Thai Basil Stir Fry are available as GF, I am even more delighted with Bambu.

I really wanted to love this place, especially because they have GF Vietnamese style egg rolls (which I DO love,) but overall I'm not that impressed.
The most frustrating part is the price gouging for some GF items. I was thinking of going just for the egg rolls tonight, when I saw on their online menu that they are charging 3 TIMES as much for the GF egg rolls as for the regular. ($5.99 for GF, $1.99 for regular.) The spring rolls are $5.99 for GF, $3.25 for regular. And spring rolls should be GF in the first place!
Ditto the Pad Thai - authentic Pad Thai is inherently GF, but their regular Pad Thai isn't. Last time I went I paid $7.99 for a half portion of Pad Thai while my m-i-l paid $8.99 for her full portion of the regular. All this leaves me feeling very much taken advantage of, and I can't help resenting it.
The quality of the food itself is bafflingly inconsistent. I do love the egg rolls. Really love them. And my m-i-l loves the regular Pad Thai. My own Pad Thai was face-sweating spicy, but otherwise average.
On another occasion I ordered the Vietnamese Noodle Salad with chicken, a long-time favorite of mine. The flavor was good, but it was clearly not freshly prepared. The noodles were molded in to the shape of the bowl they'd apparently been refrigerated in and were completely stuck together. The chicken they added was also flavorful, but extremely tough and leathery, either from being overcooked in the first place or simply from being kept warm for too long.
The reviews I've read also point to wild inconsistency in food quality, the reviews ranging from gushing enthusiasm to thorough disgust.
Personally, I'd be willing to put up with the unpredictability just to get the egg rolls, and I never mind paying a bit extra for gluten free. But being charged triple the price of the regular egg rolls? That's over the top, and I'm just not willing to be taken advantage of that way.

Went there during lunch time, and learned that the 'special' which included a half portion of an entree and two appetizers, isn't available for g/f customers. Strike one.
( Understand I was coerced into purchasing a dinner size entree..)
I went ahead and ordered an order of the 'egg rolls', which were filled with gross textured pork snoutiness and lacked seasoning. Strike two.
The waiter didn't pay attention to our needs and had a poor attitude. One cup of water and a tea bag for $2.25. Str-ike thr-ee!
Lunch for my two friends and I was $36 w/ tip. Very mediocre at best. Not a repeater.
Love this restaurant so happy after Dr told me to go gluten free to find out they have menu for me
