Could not tell me if the GF pancakes were also DF. Offered GFDF French toast but then realized they were out of GF bread, only had buns. Then realized they were out of burgers to go on the buns. But got eggs and potatoes and did cook everything in DF butter
I went to BAM’s with my wife on our way back to NYC. She has Celiac and we found it on Find Me Gluten Free. This place is a treasure with an eclectic mix of roadside diner delights and specials. They also have an amazing selection of classic soda favorites like Cheerwine and Brownie caramel root beer. The owner was accommodating to my wife and explained that he try’s to make it where everyone can eat at his place. She had the excellent gluten free pancakes and I had a southern fried chicken sandwich topped with American cheese and sausage gravy(not GF). That wasn’t her only option either. They can make chicken tenders and fries GF and they offer GF rolls for sandwiches. Whether you eat inside, outside or take it to-go, I recommend this place wholeheartedly. P.S. just because something isn’t marked explicitly GF on the menu does not mean he will not tailor the food to your GF needs. We will be back.
Just stopped by because I saw the gluten free reviews and had to try it out! This did not disappoint. The owner showed me the knife he uses for only gluten free stuff and ensured me he was even washing it for extra caution. I felt safe eating here with a bad gluten intolerance. The owner mentioned he likes to make sure he has food that everyone can eat. He even threw me a free gluten free cookie on my way out! Great place! Thank you for the yummy breakfast!
Great gluten free pancakes- huge serving... great prices. My Daughter also had a really good gluten-free bun for her bacon egg and cheese sandwich. And apparently the chef owner is willing to try and do other gluten-free dishes so I think it’s a definite stop. We are going to go next week for gluten-free chicken tenders.
