BangPop is dedicated to accommodating customers with gluten intolerance, adopting several key strategies to ensure their safety and satisfaction:
Allergen Flags on Dishes: BangPop uses allergen flags on dishes to clearly indicate those that are altered to be gluten-free, aiding customers in making safe dining choices.
Separate Fryers for Gluten-Containing Items: To minimise cross-contamination risks, the restaurant employs separate fryers for gluten-containing dishes, ensuring that gluten-free meals remain uncontaminated.
Staff Training and Awareness: Staff members are well-trained in understanding gluten intolerance and celiac disease, focusing on safe food handling and awareness of dietary restrictions.
Gluten-Free Alternatives: A variety of gluten-free options are available, including alternatives for sauces and other typically gluten-containing components.
Regular Menu Reviews and Updates: The menu is consistently reviewed and updated with new gluten-free options, reflecting the latest in gluten-free ingredients and recipes.
Supplier Selection and Ingredient Screening: High-quality, gluten-free products are sourced from selected suppliers, with ingredients undergoing strict screening for gluten-free standards.
Customer Feedback and Engagement: Customer feedback, particularly from those with gluten intolerance, is highly valued and used to refine and improve the gluten-free offerings at BangPop.
We are lucky also that Thai food is generally low in gluten!
great experience!! the online ordering wasnt working for me, so a waitress took my order the old school way and ensured me that measures would be taken for gluten free, and they made my dish mild too - very reassuring! i got the green chicken curry and rice which was super delicious.
Loads of gluten free/coeliac options and waiters were very knowledgeable with recommendations
