Review of Barrio Star

Clearly labeled options on the menu and many can be altered to eliminate gluten containing sauces or spices. Great tamales, tacos and more. At the time of our visit the chips were good to go as there were no battered/fried items on menu with which to share the fryer.

Our server was awesome and knew all the gluten containing ingredients and was a great resource. He also altered some orders so our son with celiac could get what he wanted.

Great vibe, casual and quality ingredients in a cool, transitioning neighborhood.
