Waiter was very knowledgeable of gluten allergies and was able to confirm the tortilla chips are made gluten free 🤌🥹 had the nachos, the marigold margarita and built my own tacos. Loved it

Overall this place is okay. The food is lack luster, but they knew a great deal about allergies. I wouldn’t go back, but that could just be a personal preference. I got the mushroom taco and couldn’t even finish it… it was nasty.

I ordered the beef bowl. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The menu is marked gluten free options. The chips and queso are gluten free. I will definitely be back, this place is a hidden gem!

I’ve had two positive experiences here. They told me the chips were safe and not made in a shared fryer. They told me which drinks were safe. And they brought my tacos out and called them gluten free. Corn tortillas with a variety of topping choices all labeled.

This place just opened, has a nice outdoor patio on the river and menu items marked gluten free so we gave it a try. We talked to the manager ahead of time who seemed knowledgeable and told us the chips aren't gf due to a shared fryer. Tacos can be made as rice or cauliflower rice bowls or on corn tortillas to be gf. The menu had some contradictions that we had to have the waitress clarify with the kitchen- coca cola steak tacos were marked gf on the kids menu but not on the adult menu. Thankfully I asked before ordering them for my son as they contain soy sauce and aren't safe. Beer braised black beans are labeled gf, again she ask to ask the kitchen and she assured me that they use gf beer but we decided to skip them and not take the risk. Service was slow, food was decent. In the end, my son ate a chicken burrito bowl without beans and didn't get sick. This place has potential but has a few things to work out. We'll try them again.
Ever since I discovered this place I eat here whenever I come back home. Not only is it delicious, perhaps more importantly I’ve never gotten sick. Highly recommend!

I went here after a show at the Van Andel Arena. Staff were attentive and well-informed of the kitchen protocols and ingredients. Gluten free items are prepared in a separate area of the kitchen and fresh containers of ingredients. The menu is well marked, but I was concerned the "beer braised black beans" were marked incorrectly, although the server said it was gluten free beer that's used. The food tasted really good -- the cilantro lime rice is yummy! I wish the portions had been larger. I did a build your own taco with steamed corn tortilla, mushrooms, cilantro and onion, cheese, and salsa.

Great tacos that are completely customizable so you can ensure they’re gluten free. I mentioned to the host I have an allergy and she made sure to note it down. Mexican is always a go to for me and this place did not disappoint

Have been here probably ten times and never have any issues. Food is prepped in a separate area and all servers know what we’re talking about. Great option in EL!
