One of my favorite spots in the area! Almost everything here is safe and all the food is incredible, especially their guac! I’ve never gotten glutened and always feel safe here. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately their corn tortillas are not allergen safe. La banderita states on the back of their packaging that the tortillas are made in the facility where wheat is processed. They also test positive for gluten with a Nima tester.
I ordered the lobster esquites and they tested gluten free with my Nima sensor.
Ordered steamed broccoli and that also tested positive for gluten :(
Absolutely incredible experience. Very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Multiple people saying hello to our table. VERY gluten free friendly. We are from out of town and are so thankful to have found this place. Chicken tacos are amazing.
Really delicious tacos, everything is well marked on the menu as GF. I personally loved the glazed pork belly tacos that tasted like general tsos.
It is so nice to eat here knowing that 90% of the menu is gluten free. You can denote celiac on your order, on the menu there is only a quesadilla and desserts that contain gluten so I find it easy to avoid. The staff is helpful and well informed and the meal is delicious. So nice to order appetizers at the table and be able to share and partake with everyone!
One of my favorite gluten free places. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free except for the falafel, ice cream cone, and churros (I think that’s all) and you can mark your specific allergies when ordering. The fish taco is my absolute favorite. I also usually get the salsa verde as an app. I bring family and friends here all the time and they also love it! I probably go about once a month and can’t wait to get back there again.
Favorite place!!!! The food is very, very good and the drinks are out of this world!!!!!
Update: They use soy sauce for sesame ribeye marinade so avoid that item although it’s considered GF in the paper menu in the restaurant.
This place is excellent! 90% of the menu is GF. The food was great and I had no reactions. A little busy though.
I’ve eaten here a few times and haven’t had a reaction. While I know some people don’t like the ordering process, I do really like that I can specify “celiac / gluten allergy” for each item I order. I believe there are only a very few number of items on their menu that have gluten (all of the desserts unfortunately). Can’t wait to go back.
Update: eat here all the time, have never gotten sick! Just be sure you specify “gluten allergy” with each item you order. They will let you know if there is an issue. Staff has been consistently knowledgeable if I ever need to clarify something. It’s my favorite casual place to go with my small kids or with friends. So yummy!
This place was excellent. Everything on the dinnermenu including fried options are gluten free. Desserts are not. Pork Belly tacos were out of this world. Definitely enjoyed my Caipirinha too.
I had a fantastic experience here. My server was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and she assured me that the regular menu items are prepared separately than the gluten-containing desserts (the only items with gluten). They clearly note menu items that contain gluten. All of the orders are done with your phone and a QR code, but if you have other intolerances/allergies, your server can likely assist.
Waiter was extremely rude. Ordered the sesame rice bowl and told him that I’m gluten free and his response was “you can have rice right?” in a rude tone. Got home and realized it smelled like regular Korean beef so I called and asked if there’s soy sauce in it because I have a wheat allergy and was told there is. At the restaurant I was told it was gluten free. Won’t be eating here again.
Incredible!! Almost the entire menu is GF. Delicious food. Highly recommend.
Loved this place! Almost the entire menu is gluten free, and anytime something was brought out that I had a question on, someone was quick to check for me. They have dedicated fryers.
I can see how some people may be turned off by the ordering style, but personally I wish more places were like this 😆
Bar tacos has great food. I have eaten lunch here every time I am at the mall (King of Prussia). I have never gotten sick. It is fresh and delicious. Wish I had one closer to my house.
It’s not about “what can I have” (what’s gluten free?), it’s what can’t I have. There was very little on the menu with gluten. Items with gluten are marked, rather than the other way around. The server was knowledgeable. Nearly all tacos, chips, salsa, guacamole, sides, rice bowls… there is even gelato (without the cone) for dessert.
There are no meaningful controls for guests with food allergies.
First off, I have never had to do so much work while eating out. You have to use their stupid app to order and pay. On-line ordering services are easier/less effort. It was a lot of work to order, too much for a "full-service" restaurant. Forget about service, I asked one server what was in a drink. They didn't know and I never saw them again. I had to flag down a different server to get an answer.
When it comes to food allergies, you can check a box in the app. You have no direct line of communication to the kitchen about your order. There is no visual management to indicate food allergy (flags, different plates) precautions were taken. It's all done through their app.
I'm highly sensitive to wheat (very bad allergy) and find it reassuring when my server delivers my meal and states my food allergy preparation. Confirming that the server communicated my allergy to the kitchen and the kitchen confirmed the preparation to the server.
When it comes time to pay...you got, use their app. You have input all of your information to order anything to begin. Then you have to "close-out" your check. When looking at the tip section I think WTF am I tipping to. I had to take my own order and close-out my own check. I've never had a business make me do their work and then ask full price and a tip.
The app is tricky too. It saves your payment details automatically. I had to scan the QR code to make it seem like I was starting a new check to delete my payment information. So not only do you do the restaurants job, they also mine your personal information and payment details.
Great experience! Very knowledgeable about gluten free and helpful. Explained things well and gluten free things were clearly marked. My daughter was very happy to be able to order off the menu and feel safe.
Best restaurant! Everything was gluten free with the exception of the quesadilla and three dessert items. They are super careful with cross contamination too. Definitely will be back
Some of the best customer service I’ve received in a long time! Food was wonderful. So many options…
We ordered takeout here, twice during the pandemic. The host was knowledgeable about what was safe to order and the fish tacos were safe and delicious. Almost everything is gluten free. I will definitely keep going here.
No reaction great options . Little spicy on some things when you don't expect it but great flavor.
Wow! My new obsession! Guac was fresh and phenomenal. I love that every taco BUT the carnitas is GF. The baja were great and the pork belly were my absolute favorite. The manager told us how serious they take celiac... a manager handles the ticket and they use a red card to show whats gf and whats not. An awesome find!
Amazing place! Right outside the Macy’s at King of Prussia Mall. Very cautious of allergies and serves gluten free tacos. Each guest fills out their own order card and can specifically write their allergies and preferences! Great sit down place and bar.
UNREAL. I was in Boston for 72 hours and ate here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. It’s that good. Me and my non celiac boyfriend agreed that the tacos were filled with so much flavor - the pork belly was our favorite. Started with chips and Guac and salsa and it was delicious. Cucumber salad and tajin pineapple were also great starters.
The speciality non alcoholic drinks were delicious - pomegranate lemonada was my favorite of the ones I tried.
I felt very safe - most of the menu is gluten free - all tacos are on corn tortillas. Only gluten is on the kids menu and desserts. I was assured that gluten is cooked on a separate griddle.
Chocolate pudding is gluten and dairy free and was so creamy! *has some spice jn it - not overwhelming though.
Prices were really fair and affordable!! I wish there was one in my hometown or near… GO!
Very accommodating for Celiac and lots of gf options!
The food was good with many gf options.
