I really enjoyed the tacos here, especially the duck and pork belly ones. Food was well identified and staff was great.
I’ve eaten at other locations and it’s nice to see consistency across them. Ate here safely as expected.
Food was safe but sadly very average. Margarita was great but honestly maybe the worst tacos I’ve had? Just a tiny bit of meat in an empty taco

Almost the entire menu is gluten free! It was fun to sample many different tacos. My favorite was the Brussels sprout taco. Don’t worry! There are several typical tacos too. All were flavorful and fresh! I needed to eat dairy free too and there were many options! The margaritas were amazing too!

Had an amazing lunch with the kids. Loved that the menu was clearly labeled and when I ordered over my phone you could enter your allergy. The manager came over and explained everything to our table.
Bartaco is amazing for gluten free needs! Essentially their whole menu is GF except quesadillas and desserts. GF fryer. You indicate any food allergies when you order. Tacos are so delicious!
The staff is very knowledgeable, even my own server also had celiac disease and was able to assume me that everything that was labeled Gluten free actually was. The taste of the actual food waaaas just slightly lacking, however i feel that the security in knowing that the food is safe all makes up for it.

Finally Bartaco has come to Charleston! One of my FAVORITE places to eat as a celiac. Their Baja (fried!!) fish taco is amazing and almost everything on the menu is GF! Servers are extremely knowledgeable and kind! 10/10!!!
The wife and I had a great time at Bartaco! Drew was our bartender and she is the best. I’m celiac and very particular about where I eat. Everything is gluten free except some desserts. I had the chicken, steak and pork belly tacos. They were all great especially the pork belly! I’m pretty sure we will go back again on this trip! No reaction so far. Drew made fantastic margaritas,so ask for her and tell her hello! If you are from out of town try to visit on 2nd Sunday of the month!
Majority of items are gf and are marked on the menu. Sat at the bar since they didn’t have enough staff to sit us at a table. Service was absolutely terrible and felt like a burden asking questions about the menu but the food was delicious! Drinks were great too.
The entire restaurant is gf with the exception of desserts. I had the best tacos since being in Mexico. Guac was great as well. In a 3-day trip, we went here twice because it is so good.

Had a great lunch here! Almost the entire menu is gluten free - they actually mark what HAS gluten vs what is without. I got esquites which was just okay but the tacos were great. Duck taco was delish, pork belly was amazing, and the brussel sprouts it taco was surprisingly my favorite!

I’ve enjoyed going to Bar Taco for years, long before I needed to go gluten free; so happy to be able to still go somewhere I’ve always liked. Everything on the menu is gluten-free except for a few dessert items. The tacos and drinks are delicious, service is quick and friendly. Also recommend the plantains and street corn. Not too busy, but you can make a reservation or snag a waitlist spot online.
Always go to for us at the Warf! Tons of options and well trained staff.
