We asked the host about gluten on the way in. He said everything on the menu except the dessert was gluten free. So we didn't think twice when we ordered my Celiac daughter the kids plate. It was not obvious from the ordering app that the kids quesadilla on the platter was NOT gluten free. There is a spot on the ordering to mark allergies and we did select "gluten allergy" for her meal. Even though we didn't catch the gluten, I would have expected that us selecting allergy would either indicate to change the shell automatically or for someone to come and ask about it but neither happened. So my 4 yr old spent the night puking. Checked the menu this morning and yup, kids quesadilla contains gluten.

Nearly everything is gluten free, and they have a dedicated fryer. Got a fried fish taco and fried corn fritters - both great. Staff was helpful and very knowledgeable about celiac.

Everything on menu GF except deserts and pork tacos. Great atmosphere and delicious food. After chips and three different salsa type dishes, devoured several street tacos and half roasted chicken. We will be back!

Great GF options! The tacos are awesome!

Really, really delicious tacos and bowls. Most of their menu is gluten free so it's pretty safe for celiacs. They lose a star for one thing that's important to know - the pork taco is braised in a GLUTEN-REMOVED beer, which is not safe for celiacs. They did come back to tell me so I was able to order something else, but it's marked gluten-free on the menu and not every waiter may know to tel you about the beer so I wanted to note it here. Everything I had was amazingly delicious so you should definitely go, just stay away from the pork taco.
Everything is gf aside from the deserts. I have celiacs and have eaten there dozens of times with absolutely zero problems which is super rare for me. They even have fried fish and shrimp tacos that are totally celiac friendly!

Bartaco was wonderful! They have a separate fryer for their gluten free options and the waiter asked about allergies. My celiac kids ate the chips and salsa, fried corn fritters, chicken empanadas and a couple different tacos. Neither had any reactions and both want to return. Sadly, there are no gluten free deserts.

I had such a great experience at Bartaco! Nearly the whole menu is gluten free, with only a few exceptions. ALL of the delicious tacos are gluten free - even the Baja fish which is battered (such a nice treat). Would highly recommend eating here, the food is high quality and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They take great care of their customers!

Looking for a place to eat for lunch can be a hard endeavor for many people with celiac. However, bartaco was an amazing restaurant, and has a very convenient location as well. The service was exceptional, and they were very knowledgeable in the subject of gluten. I ordered the duck tacos, which were a culinary masterpiece, and would highly recommend this for anybody who loves a good taco.

My husband and I ate at this establishment during a road trip and were more than satisfied! I am an extremely sensitive celiac and I had no reactions, and I am several days out from my visit. Most of the menu is gluten free, and delicious! I had chicken verde tacos, guac, and chicken soup. I can’t wait to eat here again!

95% of their menu is GF and they asked if it was for celiac or not. My daughter ate the chicken, steak and baja fish tacos plus salsa and guacamole and not only was it safe, NO issues, but it was DELICIOUS!
