The owner's daughter has Celiac and the owner came over and talked to us later and explained that they have so many options due to wanting to make items for their daughter. They have a dedicated fryer and an extensive gf menu. I had a stromboli, garlic Parmesan fries, and a cannoli and they were all great. I also stole a couple bites of my husband's peanut butter pie and I'm definitely ordering my own next time! The gluten eaters also enjoyed their food.
Amazing menu. Almost everything can be made gluten-free. Mozzarella sticks, chicken parm and deep fried oreos were all amazing. These people get it. I never thought I’d experience something this great in an Italian restaurant since being diagnosed (and this is coming from a little Italian girl). I will be back.
Overall great experience for take out. The gluten free menu is very extensive and we called to place our pick up order over the phone and see which of the gluten free options can also be made dairy free. It was a Saturday night so they said they were a bit busy busy did their best to answer questions. They do have dairy free cheese for pizzas even tho it isn’t listed online!!Their gf breading does contain milk so chicken cutlets etc aren’t an option for those of us who are also dairy free so not sure if that’s the same for their other breaded gf items like calamari etc.
The staff who answered the phone was knowledgeable about the menu or was able to get answers to questions. They were patient when we were asking questions which is always comforting. I even had my SO take a bite of the pizza first bc the dairy free cheese looked too good to be true! Pizza was on of the best gf/df I’ve ever had! Everyone else said their regular menu items were decent.
Take out order took over an hour despite the estimated time however we did have 5 meals and food was fresh and hot when it came out
Can’t say enough good things about this place! My husband and I tried this for the first time today. The manager is amazing and very knowledgeable about Celiac as he has a family member with it. I got chicken parm and it was absolutely delicious. We were too full to eat the GF chocolate PB pie so we got it to go. Can’t wait to come back here and try the many different GF options they have!
I cannot recommend this place enough— if you are near Nazareth PA you must stop by! Got fried pickles, pierogis, a calzone, and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. I also got a slice of peanut butter pie to go. Everything was fantastic! They have a separate fryer and almost everything can be make GF. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I hope I can be back!
There’s a reason travel from states away to eat here. Food is amazing, atmosphere is good, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac / GF. The owners daughter has it so he decided to make an alternative to almost everything on the very broad menu GF.
It probably doesn't look like it from the outside, but this is an excellent spot for gluten free Italian!
I devoured the cheesesteak and rice ball and loved the cannoli which was delicious and not overly sweet.
The portions are generous and the bread for the sandwich appears to be homemade! Their tomato sauce is absolutely amazing and you'll contemplate whether dipping even the cannoli in it would be yummy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I just wish we lived closer because this would be a regular spot for me.
The door is on the side of the building so you may want to drive around the building to if you don't see it when you first pull in.
We love the food here. The mozzarella sticks are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The Sicilian pizza crust is so good. The eggplant parm isn’t mushy and has a crisp gf breading. The atmosphere isn’t special, and the service is slow if you order gf, but the flavor and especially the textures are great. We have become regulars.
The literal best GF pizza I've had since going gluten free. Order the Sicilian for pillowy, soft thick crust. It's incredible as are the zeppoles and gluten free cannoli. The staff was also incredibly nice and knowledgeable, in fact our server was also gluten intolerant and shared her favorites with us. Big recommend. However as with most other restaurants there is always the risk of cross contamination, so take that into account. Worth the risk for me.
I went here based on hearing reviews and seeing the amazing GF menu. I ordered 2 pizzas, fried pickles and cinnamon sugar zeppoles. I couldn’t wait to get home and try it. Everything was disgusting! My kids, who love pizza- and are used to GF pizza, took one bite and spit it out. Most of the food went into the trash.
We had a terrific meal here! They offered gluten free versions of all my celiac son’s favorites - chicken tenders, ravioli, pizza, mozzarella sticks, even garlic bread (which was DELICIOUS). Our waiter was so friendly, with a wonderfully positive and energetic vibe! And what impressed my husband the most was that when he got the bill, he saw that they had actually put “CELIAC!!!” next to all the items my son ordered (rather than just “GF”). We’ll definitely be back!
The food was absolutely delicious and they were so informative and knew about celiac. Our waitress daughter has celiac and her husband is the owner. I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I did not get sick. The fried pickles tasted like regular ones and the Stromboli crust was soft. Definitely will go back!
I will absolutely be back. I was able to call & speak to someone. He said his step-daughter has celiac disease & he understands the importance of gf safety. They have a large gf menu! I had friend pickles, mozzarella sticks, pierogis, calzone, zepolles (with powdered sugar) and cheese pizza. Everything was great, but the calzone & mozzarella sticks were my favorite!!
I cannot express enough how amazing this place is!! They already have a large gluten-free menu, but they are able to safely make just about everything on their regular menu gluten free as well! The manager’s stepdaughter has celiac, so they are very aware of cross-contamination and keeping things separate in their kitchen (they are happy to answer any questions you have and will go over their protocol with you). The food is great and has never made me sick, I especially like their calzones, strombolis, wings, and zeppoles! You have to try this place if you are gluten free and miss your favorite comfort/Italian foods!!
Delicious!!! I was so excited to see the variety of gluten-free foods! The server was very aware of Celiac Disease and assured me they have a separate fryer for gluten-free menu items. I got the wings with mild sauce and ranch, fries, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was delicious and I don't feel sick! Would absolutely come here again on my next trip to the Lehigh Valley!
The owners are dedicated to making this restaurant a safe place. They have a variety of excellent food - the pasta is safe and delicious. They even make a cannoli pizza.
