NOT safe nor knowledgable. Stopped in with my husband for wine and appetizers. no gluten free menu. No options. I asked the server if the cheese plate could be made gluten free as I have celiac. Also asked if a vegetarian appetizer would be safe. And after checking with the chef, she told me both were safe.Cheese plate came out with bread on it. When I protested, they removed the 2 pieces of bread. I explained I was celiac but they said the chef assured them he had put the bread on last. I tested the cheese with my Nima and it tested positive. They did not remove the $25 cheese plate from the bill, so I took it home so my husband could eat the investment.I had started to eat my vegetarian appetizer. before this debacle. I realized too late that it, too, was unsafe.Complete disregard for what is and is not safe, clearly no understanding of celiac, despite classifying itself as a more upscale establishment. Terrible.
