Belle's Cafe

I always loved Belle’s and their Cobb salad until a smart server told me they cook the bacon and let it cool on slices of bread to absorb the grease. I also believe while they have GF toast they do not have a dedicated toaster so there is the potential for cross-contamination. I would ask a lot of questions if I eat here again.

Ate here twice for breakfast during my stay here in Newport. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had the eggs, potatoes, and gf toast which was delicious. Would def recommend!

This place has a huge problem with cross contamination. Got an omelette and got very sick.

Clam chowder is very good. But came with non GF crackers. Not much else GF on the menu.

Went for the first time today- what an amazing and special place. Had a Mighty Thor grilled sandwich on GF bread. It was EXCELLENT! I am very sensitive and get sick everywhere I go..not here : ) They toasted the bread on a special pan, they know what they are doing. Outdoor seating in the summer with tables, couches, and umbrellas right next to beautiful mega yachts. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go back! Godsend in Newport as most of the restaurants don't know what they are doing or don't offer GF...we live here..I find it hard to eat here unless I spend mega money. Hats off to Belle's!!! Bravo!

Got the avocado toast with eggs. They have gf bread for toast/sandwiches/burgers and the home fries are done on a separate griddle so they’re gf as well. Beautiful outdoor seating by the shipyard and quick, friendly service.
