The staff is awesome, and they have so much to choose from. Definitely try the cinnamon rolls, “real deal” cookies, and the different cakes. Even if you aren’t gluten free, still try it out! I take my fiancé and my mom to this bakery, and they LOVE it!!

Was on a business trip through Knoxville and found this gem through this app and it was an awesome find since I’ve never been to a GF bakery. It was a very special treat to have a GF and dairy free cupcake that tasted like the real thing. I also had a tuna sandwich which was delicious. I just wish I could have gone on a Saturday so I could have had a donut.

ALL GLUTEN FREE!!! Fabulous selection, amazingly safe for people who need gluten free and very tasty food. Bought a giant box of pastry to share with my mom and loved every bite. The raspberry white chocolate scone and and Cherry pecan coffee cake were standout, but truly amazing. A must visit!!

Such a great surprise to find this place as we were traveling through Knoxville. I have a gluten allergy and was so excited to see so many choices. I got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was so delicious and biscuit was not dry but very moist. I also got a doughnut that was very moist. I definitely recommend and will definitely stop again when in the area.

Disappointed. Not the same under new ownership. I have Celiac and travel many hours to BYL pick up large quantity orders. My last order none of the frozen items were individually wrapped, but just laying in a box. Upon taking a bite, quickly discovered everything was extremely dried out. No wrapping would easily explain this. I just tried a blueberry scone and it is not edible. Tastes like plain biscuit batter without basic mixing ingredients such as salt, and honey. Also, most items in the case are NOT wrapped and there is no backing to the case which means the food sits out in the open air all day. The last time I placed a large owner was under the previous owners. EVERYTHING that was frozen was wrapped. Nothing was dry. Hoping they will turn things around, if not they lost a customer. Also, many

Comment from business owner I'm sorry that you had a bad experience at our bakery. Your experience is not typical. I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you to get a better understanding of all of the details related to the order so that I can put processes in place to ensure that it doesn't happen again. In addition, I'd like to make it right with you. Whether or not you choose to return for additional purchases, I want to be sure that we replace all of the food you were unhappy with. Please do me the favor of calling me at the bakery at your convenience. Thanks. Kirk Icuss, Owner.

I have many food Allergies and the lovely Lady that served me and my Husband ( who has no Allergies) made sure our experience was memorable. I haven't had any type of cake for over 20 months and it was delicious. They should start a shop up in NZ 😊

Totally GF dedicated. Also have many Paleo friendly items and everything is listed either as GF, DF, V, Paleo.... Tried their Build Your Own Breakfast Bowl, wow, fabulous and couldn't eat it all, very filing! They had already sold out of the biscuits, which looked SO delicious my mouth watered. Lots of brands you may have seen before in grocery section, but.... the items were things I haven't seen at Publix, Whole Food or Earth Fare. Also had fresh farm eggs. I went on a Saturday at 11:45, so take this into account if you wanna eat a biscuit on Saturday.

Good, drove far and out of the way to stop in for specific items listed on website. Unfortunately those items are only on certain days so I was very disappointed. From website I was thinking it was a lot of home made specialty items that I normally cannot find at most stores. However when looking around it seemed to be a lot of name brands that I normally see at my grocery stores. Got a few bakery items that were good but again, things I've seen before.

Wow! Just stopped here for a late lunch with my family. We are traveling from Texas and needed to stop. Small area for eating inside at but can take food to go. The owner was amazing! So friendly and welcoming! We had 2 bacon and cheese scones, paleo chicken salad sandwich (which my 9 yo son took from me to eat) we also ordered 2 smoothies to go. They had some fudge samples that my son really liked, but it isn't something the sell. The owner cut a few pieces for us to take on the road! Seriously, if you are in the area worth the stop! Looks like they run out of a lot of options as it's a small place and they have daily specials.

The best choices for gluten-free. I've lived in Knoxville for 18yrs and this is the best choice for gluten-free. It's a real bakery. Totally dedicated gluten-free building. Staff are so kind! Everything I've had is delicious. My only complaint is that it's a little too pricey. I love their orange bundt cakes, almond joy bars, especially the cinnamon rolls.

Great find just a short drive from our hotel. The staff is super friendly and the food was excellent! I got a tuna salad sandwich and a turtle brownie to eat on the road on our way to Gatlinburg. It was a little pricey, but to be fair the sandwich was huge - it could've easily fed two people. The brownie was pure heaven. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Benefit your life is much more than a gluten-free bakery. They have a friendly staff, MTO food, a freezer with gluten free products, gluten free boxed items and on Fridays they have gluten free donuts. To quote my step-father "best donut that I've ever had, gluten or non-glutened". All of that being said, I would have given 5 stars, but the prices are pretty steep. I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

The best thing about this place is that everything in the entire store is GF! They have a pretty good variety of bakery treats that are absolutely amazing. And they do sell gf pantry items, including specialty things like GF phyllo dough that is hard to find elsewhere. That being said...they are WAY overpriced and kind of snooty. I tend to visit once a month or every couple months when I just want a good GF treat that I don't have to bake myself.

We drove about 20 miles to get here based on reviews as we were visiting from San Diego with our 10-year-old daughter who has Celiac Disease. We were expecting a cafe. What we found was a market with a menu of three lunch items (tuna salad, chicken salad & quiche) plus a smoothie bar. No soup, as it is seasonal (despite fall like temps and rain). Seating was limited; two pub tables along the parking lot (it was pouring) or three stool at the smoothies bar with hardly any space at the counter because they use the counter more for displaying items. That being said, it was celiac friendly, staff was friendly & food was good. Would have liked to have seen a slightly bigger menu if we were to return in the future. Chicken salad wraps were on small side; my husband was still hungry. We spent close to $30 for two wraps, a smoothie & a cookies and cream cupcake and walked away hungry.

The entire bakery/store is gf so it is completely safe against xcon. Many yummy options to choose from. Tried the delish chicken salad, and an assortment of scones (savory and sweet), along with a few other things for our trip. Be ready for the sticker shock as almost nothing seems to be priced until it's rung up.
