They have a gluten sensitive menu that’s pretty big. Before they started the cook asked if anyone at the table had any allergies. The cook used gluten free soy sauce for everything at the table just to be extra safe. The yum yum sauce is also gluten free. Most of the ingredients they use are naturally gluten free and they made my food first to reduce the chance for cross contamination. I got the hibachi steak with shrimp and the spicy chicken rice.
The food was very good and I had no reaction. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a hibachi table show.

Stay away. Staff has no idea what is gluten free. Lied to me after I asked MULTIPLE times about the soup being gluten-free. It’s not. Im horrible I’ll and they ruined a good night.

We dined at Benihana for Mother’s Day and it was fantastic. The server, Magic (if I understood her name correctly), was phenomenal and understood allergies extremely well (I have celiac and also have to avoid dairy, and my husband and daughter have shellfish allergies). She made my soup without the fried onions and brought me oil and vinegar to go on my salad, and then made sure the chef knew to use gluten free soy sauce and not to use butter on my food. Chef Chico was extremely accommodating - to the point that he cleaned the grill twice to make sure that no gluten or dairy made it into my food. I cannot say enough great things about them! We will definitely be back!

Benihana was very sensitive to my son's celiac disease. They communicated clearly to the chef and my son was not served the soup but instead received 2 salads with yum yum sauce instead of the regular dressing. His entree was prepared separately in the kitchen to avoid contamination from the griddle. He was also given an order of edamame as part of his meal for free. We were very pleased overall with their precautions.

Gluten Friendly menu - not safe for Celiac due to cross contamination even if you specify. We were served the wrong soup and salad dressing and the chef was very accommodating but it was impossible to avoid cross contamination.
