Bensi of Whitehouse

Their gluten-free pizza crust has wheat in it that has been de-glutened. They also cook their gluten- free pasta in the same pot as the regular pasta. Very disappointed!

We just moved to the area and saw that Bensi made their own Gluten-Free pizza crust. We ordered last night and it was fantastic! Finally a 16” pizza where I can have leftovers! I have Celiac and had no issues!

Find me Gluten free lead us to Bensi’s and the pizza did not disappoint! They took all the precautions and it was wonderful to have a crust that wasn’t thin crust but like a deep dish. It was yummy! We will definitely search the restaurant when back in New Jersey.

They make their own pizza crust and it’s so good! They assured me that they change gloves, everything is separate and they put foil down in the oven!

I’ve eaten there there a few times ( all takeout) i got a pasta dish and sausage and peppers and explained it had to be looked separately and pasta cooked in different water and they were great. food is awesome and i’ve never gotten sick.

I got a gluten free pasta dish here and it was not safe, I had a reaction.

I recently tried Bensi's Restaurant after being a bit intimidated about whether or not they could handle gluten free. They do have gluten free pasta and a few options for grilled dishes that are gluten free. I ordered the salmon dish and they substituted the fried potato for a baked potato. The waitress seemed uncomfortable with gluten free, but she was accommodating. Although I was worried, I did not get sick. It is nice to have more options in the area.
