HORRIBLE! the worst service I have ever experienced in my life ---by far! Come for the food and stay for the snakes!!!!! (I put a one star only because this site wouldn't allow a "no" star review) Prior to the RYAN ADAMS show last night my wife and I along with another couple decided that we would go to Beso de Arte because the menu looked great and besides they had plenty of GF options. We arrived in Morrison at about 5:30 and made our way to the restaurant. We were excited as we walked by to see the cool outdoor sitting area with the waterfall with lots of open tables. As we made our way around the building to the main entrance we finally located the "front door" and went in. Upon entry we saw that the main inside dining room was completely empty except for approximately 6 to 8 employees standing around. Up near the entry at the top of the steps down in to the dining area there was a sign that stated "Please wait to be seated". The couple that we were with walked past the sign down to the main inside dining room which was on the small/intimate side. We all stood there for a few minutes and then the husband asked two gentlemen standing off to the side talking if they were able to seat us -- they replied that a hostess would need to help us. At that my friend stated in a very matter-of-fact way that there were "12 people standing around" and we were just looking to sit at one of the approx. 5 open tables on the patio. After another minute a women walked towards us and my friend again asked if she was the hostess. She said no but that she would seat us. No problem, no animus nothing. As we made our way to the patio, pointing to the table we wanted to sit at and as she in a whispered voice with a menu covering her mouth - as not to alert the other patrons- that they had a "rattlesnake in the garden" and that she wanted to make sure that we were going to be "okay" and "not surprised". At this point and gentlemen came rushing up on my friend (I would come to find out later via another review that he was the "manager"- Les Gomez) and stood approximately 6 inches from his face and said, "whats going on here?". At first we thought he was coming to assuage any concerns around their SNAKE issue or maybe their lack of attention to us as we stood around looking for someone to help us after 5 minutes of entering the place. But NO he was coming over to ask us why my friend stated that there were "12 people standing around" and then he said that he has people "like him that come here and mess things up". After a quizzical looks from all of us and a mouthed silent apology from the waitress that was trying to seat us to my wife, Les said "bye" along with exaggerated waves and told us to leave. This whole episode from entry to the restaurant, where we were ready to spend real money to the time we were told to leave, lasted about 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES. Ridiculous. Embarrassing, discriminatory and absolutely ridiculous. We were by no means rude or disruptive. We were going to tolerate the SNAKE issue in spite of a concern amongst all of us but we thought hey we're here, we were starving and we had a concert to get to. The escalation and over reaction came directly from LES. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I have worked in restaurants and have visited them coast to coast for business and pleasure -- this was the worst situation I have ever, ever dealt with. I cannot and will not endorse or promote a horrible individual like this nor the institution that employs him. Enter at your own risk -- LITERALLY! #Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssss #YikesSNAKE #managermakessoupnazilookwarmandfuzzy! #Iwishcouldvotenegativestarsorlikesorwhatnot JCM from DENVER
