The crêpes was very good but the staff could be more knowledgeable about which ingredients are gf. The waitress told me upfront in an somewhat disinterested way that if I wanted anything else than sugar on my crêpes she would have to ask the chef if that was gf. She was very unfriendly, generally indifferent and forgot parts of our order. She didn't really apologize for that. The coffee was not drinkable. So all in all, yummy crêpes, terrible coffee and service.
If you're going to advertise gluten free batter on your menu, it would be a good idea for your servers to understand what exactly gluten is. My family had lunch here today because of the advertised gf crepe batter, but some of the combos had ingredients that I had questions about. When I asked our server some questions, it was absolutely clear that she had no idea what gluten was, which meant that I had an uneasy feeling while I ate my meal. The most concerning issue was that she never said she would check with the chef....she just started guessing as to whether the sauce in question had gluten or not. I told her to just leave it off so hopefully I'll be fine, but I'll know within the next 24 hours if I was glutened or not. But on the positive side, the food was tasty and the non-gluten sensitive family members really enjoyed their food.
Our daughters loved the Marie Antoinette, We loved the New Yorker and the deja vu
Amazing GF and non GF CREPES! We choose to create our own! Good prices and comfortable atmosphere! Excellent waitress.
Numerous gluten-free crepe options, as well as standard breakfast fare. However, not celiac-safe, as there is not a dedicated GF crepe griddle, and they fry eggs and other such foods on the same surface where they toast bread (a typical large kitchen grill). Food overall was pretty good, though the actual crepes were cold by the time they reached our table. Our particular waiter was not educated about GF or celiac - when we were asking him questions about celiac-safe cooking, he thought we were talking about the oil used for cooking and made no obvious connection with our questions about GF options.
