Review of Better Byrd

First time visit I ordered chicken bites and sweet potato fries. The fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken was heavily breaded and overly crunchy. It was a bit dry. I think it was sitting in the warmer too long. I will try the tenders instead next time. Sauces run on the spicy side. Overall, food that I will try again. ** Edited to add that as I was leaving I noticed another customer had chicken bites on their tray. My chicken bites look like popcorn chicken and their chicken bites looked closer to chicken nuggets. Quite a difference in presentation and perhaps the reason why my food was overly dry. Update- I have been back many times now and the chicken tenders have always been perfect. It’s my favorite place to go. The cheese curds and sweet potato fries are wonderful as well. The only room for improvement would be to offer sauces that are not so spicy and garlicky.
