I don’t know what the kitchen looked like but the staff was incredible regarding gf. The GF menu had GREAT options for Italian and really delicious. I didn’t get sick or have any symptoms from contamination. The meatball appetizer was outrageous & served with homemade pita bread. Pure heaven!
We took a trip for a volleyball tournament to Davenport and wanted something very safe. This popped up as pretty safe. I asked all routine questions about their gf pasta. I had no reaction. Some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten. And they have gf bread. There is a gluten free menu! Highly recommend
Very good restaurant with many gluten free options! A gluten free menu is available upon request and they offer gluten free bread before you order. I will say that the “bread” isn’t really bread, it’s just some GF pizza crust with salt and pepper on it, but admittedly it was good. Overall this is a very good option with lots of variety!
Wow wow wow 👍 HUGE gluten free menu. Can not recommend enough. Delicious! I got the chicken Parm with the Alfredo pasta. I had the gluten free bread and it was really good! It is the same bread they use for the pizza crust so keep that In Mind when ordering. I will definitely be back!! Yum!! ✨✨✨✨✨
They have a whole gluten free menu! Food was delicious and they were so kind and understanding about my celiac disease.
I’ve been going here ever since finding out I had celiac and they are always very accommodating and they have tons of gluten free options. They also have gluten free bread which is delicious! Have never gotten sick here and their gluten free pasta and pizza is incredible! Highly recommend this place for celiacs!
Never expected when I was diagnosed with celiac several years ago that my "go-to" safe restaurant would be an Italian restaurant! But Biaggi's has an expansive gluten-free menu, which includes many of their favorite pasta dishes as well as a variety of non-pasta dishes, such as chicken or pork Marsala, Parmesan-crusted tilapia, risotto, salads, and pizzas. Their monthly specials can often be made GF upon request. Have eaten there many times over three years with no issues. Servers are generally very knowledgeable about GF. Pass on the upcharge gluten-free bread, though.
My family always orders the “pronto pack” take out to feed the crowd gathering at Christmas. With my celiac diagnosis this year, I was delighted to find out they had a gluten free pasta and bread option, even family style, packaged separately. The food is great and I appreciate their attention to dietary needs!
This is always a safe fall-back for a nice lunch or dinner out for me. They have a great GF menu. I also have to avoid dairy, so that limits my options, but I still have a few delicious choices. I have never been “glutened” here. GF bread for $1 so you don’t have to sit awkwardly while everyone else chows down on fresh bread and rolls, which is a nice added consideration.
NOT SAFE for celiacs. I dined here a couple of times without issue. Then, a few weeks ago, I dined here again and got extremely sick. I ordered the GF brown rice pasta with GF bread. There’s too much of a risk of CC for me to come back.
Very good! Had bacon wrapped dates and spinach fettuccine and meatballs. Did not get sick!
They give complementary bread for all guests. Upon request they give you GF flat bread for only $1. All staff is knowledgeable on giving a separate GF menu. I recommend the GF chicken Parmesan with spinach fettuccine!
Very accommodating! Could not have been happier. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of cross-contamination. My 10 year old son with celiac LOVED the GF pasta. They actually had a pretty big GF menu that included all the sauces that would work. When our server found out my son was GF after bringing out the bread, she gave us the option of GF. They actually made it fresh, it was a kind of flat bread. He LOVED it!
We have been here multiple times and every experience has been great!
Have eaten here 3 times and been sick from gluten every time. I have been to other biaggi's out of town and had no issues. Someone is not taking precautions in the kitchen, at least for those with celiac disease.
NOT SAFE for celiacs. NO separate colander for gluten free pasta. Even manager admitted to us "flour all over the air" due to pizza making in the kitchen. Waiter was clueless, made us wait almost 20 minutes till manager arrived. We had to walk out.
Hands down they have the best gf pasta dish I have ever had! we didn't get any gf bread, but with a meal that tasty, I didn't really need bread.
Beautiful atmosphere and knowledgable, thoughtful staff. Pasta Alfredo was delicious and the brought me a plate of yummy GF bread and oil-dipping: there's an awesome first!
Very good food, great wait staff, excellent gluten free menu.
Ate there a few weeks ago as my son came to town. Always the place we go because of the great gluten free options for him. Was disappointed this time when they charged a dollar for a single piece of gluten free bread to dip in the parmesan/olive oil dip prior to the meal when it used to be complementary before. It's hard enough having limitations and was rather awkward when I could have all you can eat complimentary slices of non gluten free bread and he was charged a dollar per slice. Customer satisfaction went down this visit.
The food was excellent. The staff is very acomidating and knew the menu very well they provided great service. They were able to offer suggestions on what can be converted to gluten free from the regular menu also. As others have stated the gluten free bread was good. I will eat here again and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good meal and good service.
Very good food and the staff is very knowledgeable. They also have bread upon request that is very good. Definitely enjoyed the time here.
Wonderful options and knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend!
