My friends really wanted to try this restaurant. It has the same owner as one if our favorites, Vergina's, which is just down the street. When I read the reviews here, I was reluctant to go but I noticed the reviews are quite old.

I called before going and asked them if they had GF pasta sauces and was told yes. When we got there, we were presented with a menu that indicated what dishes were gluten free. Other than a couple of salads, there were not a lot of choices. Even there steaks were not GF.

When I asked our waiter if there were any other choices besides salad, he indicated they have a GF pasta and pointed out several sauces that I could have. Again, no mention of steaks being GF. One of my friends ordered a steak and asked if he could get the sauce on the side and was told yes. So I'm wondering why the waiter didn't mention that to me. I would have ordered that, which was twice the price.

Anyway, service was excellent as were the drinks. The food was good. I wound up getting a bowl of pasta with meat sauce and I split a lobster salad with my wife, which by the way, the salad was excellent and had a lot of lobster in it).

All in all, it was good but I should point out that we all agreed (3 couples) that Vergina's is much better.

Weird experience. Waiter said the have gluten free pasta but they put flour in all of their sauces for some strange reason. We walked out and went down the street to osteria tulia and had an awesome meal.

Don’t bother with this place. It’s weird and uptight.

Menu states gluten free pasta yet there is no sauce that can go on that pasta! No sauce on any meal of any kind is gf. Not a good gluten free meal option

I'm giving 1 star only because the staff was very attentive. I had called the restaurant earlier to be sure there were many items that were gf. Upon arriving, and starving, we were told that the only dishes that were gf were a few pasta choices (no meat sauce, no this sauce no that sauce because there's flour in it?!?!) and a couple of fish choices. That's not why one goes to a restaurant of this caliber! To add insult to injury, 2 of us got sick upon arriving home. For this price point, if you are gf --don't go here
