Our cinnamon rolls were delicious as well as our muffins! Our four-year-old loved the All day power muffin that had carrot and zucchini in it. We loved learning that big Mike himself was also celiac so understood the importance of cross-contamination

The Cheesecake was amazing. Best we ever tasted, whether gluten free or regular! We ordered it for our organization’s Christmas party and, while it was expensive, it was quite large, beautiful in presentation and absolutely delicious!

This review is in response to the review written by Harlan. Big Mikes is a 100 percent certified gluten free bakery and cafe. All of our products that are served are gluten free always as the signage says. We are a Resteraunt as well as a bakery. We offer gluten free and vegan options. Our vegan options are 100 percent gluten free and vegan as well. There are NO cross contamination issues at all at Big Mikes. I am the owner and suffer from severe celiac and live at total gluten free life for more than 15 years, so I definitely understand the severity of cross contamination as the previous reviewer eluded to. We offer gluten free and vegan breakfast, lunch, grab and go options , cakes by order, pizza and over 30 exceptional options. In 12 years of being in business I have never had one case of cross contamination ever because there is no way possible to ever get cross contaminated at Big Mikes. VERY DISAPPOINTED! My EXPENSIVE birthday cake was ruined! First of all, I bought 3 VERY expensive birthday cakes(6in., 12in., 12in.) I paid for it in full. The 6in. (Red velvet) was the ONLY 1 that we enjoyed! Both of the 12in. cakes were raw inside, didn’t have the fillings I paid for and it was EXTREMELY TOO SWEET and very Amateurishly decorated! He wanted to deliver it because I told him that I wouldn’t want something to go WRONG with my 3 BIRTHDAY CAKES which NOBODY liked, NOBODY ATE and I paid $681.06!!! Including, $52.00 and he saw my birthday cake broken when he delivered it. I was a good sport and offered to fix it BUT, when I opened the cake box, the cake fell apart! Hence, my VERY BAD REVIEW! I HAD TO BAKE AND DECORATE AN 8in. CHRISTMAS CAKE LAST MINUTE! UNACCEPTABLE, AFTER I PAID $681.06! My family, especially my daughter, was so livid, she texted Mike and his response is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Delicious made-to-order pies, made with fresh fruits (blueberries in our case). Mike is a great storyteller and amazing with all customers in store and on the phone. This place is now on top of my list when I'm in South Florida, period!

It was a great pleasure meeting Mike and sampling some of the baked goods and the Belgian waffle. Everything we ordered was delicious! It’s really hard to find gf baked goods that are moist and taste great but Mike figured it out! We don’t live in the area, but whenever we come back to Florida, we will definitely be returning customers! How about them Cowboys?!

What to say!!! First of all, our customer experience has exceeded our expectations, Mike was more than happy to help and answer my call, even if the bakery was closed on that day. When we got there, he was super nice and helpful, made us feel welcome. The pies we ordered looked so good and were fresh out of the oven! The whole family (not GF people at all) LOVED every bite of them. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Mike and hope to come back soon!

Celiac daughter ordered a waffle, monkey bread and lemon Bundt cake, and she enjoyed all of the food. Mike was very friendly. Location was a bit of a drive from where we were staying on vacation, but my daughter was very exited to be able to order anything off the menu. Prices are a little steep but we have come to expect that with GF items.

Everything at Big Mike’s Baking Company is gluten-free. They also have vegan opinions. My boyfriend and I got donuts, chocolate glaze and cinnamon sugar. The donuts were delicious and weren’t dry which was great! The avocado toast and omelet were incredible. The açaí smoothie and tangerine juice are also a must! While we waited on our food, Mike himself came up to our table and was super personable and professional. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is simply THE BEST! It's my savior when my daughter needs cupcakes for school (her teacher said it's the best she's ever had) They are so incredibly friendly, but best of all.. 1000% celiac safe! My daughter has celiac and doesn't showl symptoms.. I can rest assure this place is safe. They save me from always having to bake at home (which isn't the easiest when wanting it GF and tasty) 🥰

Loved stopping here for breakfast and birthday treats while on vacation! The food was great, staff was friendly, and Big Mike himself sat down and chatted with us for a few minutes. Great small business and celiac friendly. I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and took home banana bread, cinnamon roll, and coffee cake. Even saw a birthday cake being picked up while there.

Holy moly AMAZING!!! I can’t even find the correct words or expression to say how delicious and wonderful this place is. The options are extensive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff is so wonderful. We had-red velvet cupcakes (took some to go), pancakes that didn’t taste GF and certainly were the best pancakes we’d ever had!!! As well as an espresso cake, and Mediterranean flatbread. The flatbread was to die for! I can’t wait to come back, and not only recommend it but insist it is with your time!

Worth the drive, worth the money! We tried a number of things on the menu and loved it all! All the baked goods are delicious they don’t even taste gluten free. The juices are made fresh right in front of you. We also had breakfast there, the bacon egg and cheese sandwhich is to die for! And the staff couldn’t be nicer, Big Mike is so personable and cares about each person that walks in the door. That was my first time going there and I’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous! We had the gf, df egg cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich. Delicious. What a great find this restaurant is! We also left with coffee cake, 2 kinds of cookies and banana bread. We even got to meet big Mike. 100% safe for celiacs. Don’t miss this gem!

We stopped by for some gluten and dairy free donuts and left with zucchini bread cookies and cupcakes also! Purchased cupcakes for my husbands birthday. Most folkes weren't GF or vegan and they all loved them.

Also purchased an assortment of muffins and the apple pie. The muffins <chef's kiss>. The pie was eaten by someone who is not GF and there wasn't a crumb left.

On top of the delicious food, Mike is a gem of a person. So personable and really took care with each customer. I highly recommend Big Mike's!!!

Finding a GF bakery on vacation was so exciting but the staff at Big Mike’s made my experience even better. The woman helping me told me about every item they offer and even let me try a cookie of my choice since I had never been there before. Found this bakery thanks to the Find Me Gluten Free app. While visiting in Florida we went to Big Mikes. We were greeted by a very friendly store employee. She took the time to detail the various offerings; gf muffins, cookies, donuts and keto baked goods. All 100% gluten free. We bought cookies and muffins. The cookies were awesome. Cannot wait to try the muffins we bought. If you are gluten intolerant and/or Celiac, this place is a must !

As someone with celiac who loves baked goods, this place is incredible. I’ve tried A LOT of gluten free goodies, and these are some of the best! Gluten free products are always more expensive, given the nature of the ingredients it takes to make quality gluten free goods. I think this place is very fairly priced. Plus, it’s a small business and all made from scratch. On top of everything, the customer service is some of the best you’ll find anywhere.

Mike is AMAZING...and his story is one to take a listen to if you have time. If you're living with Celiac Disease, know he takes such good care of his customers in preparation and maintaining a gluten free and allergy friendly environment. He prides himself in his work and it shows in is delicious food.

The establishment is completely gluten free and there are also vegan options. Also there are no nut products used either. Cupcakes muffins, cookies, and donuts were delicious. He also has soups and omelets. If you are in South Florida, you must visit this place! It is a hidden gem in Coral Springs that will undoubtedly be HUGE one day very soon!

At a loss for words at how incredible Mike and Thalia treated us! Spoke with us and explained how they don’t even allow staff to bring gluten in their lunch box! Felt so safe! On holiday from Scotland and having had a sore stomach for a day I searched the GF me app. Worth the drive from Ft Lauderdale for an authentic Gluten free grilled cheese with a ‘danger bar’ was my lunch to go. Amazing authentic grilled cheese. Super soft muffins. Took a chicken pot pie with me as well. All 100% gluten free. Fabulous friendly shop attendant. Even spoke to Big Mike on the phone, the owner. Total gem of a find if you are coeliac or need delicious food without the gluten.

Big Mike’s has amazing gluten free food. The current Thursday special is Chicken pot pie or lasagne. I purchased both. Chicken pot pie to eat and lasagne to go. The pot pie is just as I remembered. Flaky crust and just the right amount of filling. I look forward to eating the lasagne at a later date. I also purchased some amazing baked goods. Lemon blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll muffin, energy muffin, apple muffin to save for later. Must stop if you are in the area!
