My experience here was amazing!! I got the vegan mint chip in a bowl. I asked the server if he could change gloves and use a clean scooper due to an allergy (gluten) and intolerance (dairy). He was fantastic with this! Immediately did so with a smile on his face (despite changing his gloves a few minutes earlier) as well as obtaining the enclosed vegan ice cream, using a different prep area, and a new scoop. He used all of these precautions for a single scoop of ice cream and was one of the nicest and most accommodating servers I have encountered. I wish I had asked his name because of how amazing it was. The ice cream did have a slight “vegan” taste but was still really good and you get used to the taste after the first two or so bites. All in all this was an amazing experience and I will definitely go back!

My daughter has enjoyed ice cream from here several times. They change their gloves if you ask. She always just gets a plain flavor. She has also had the sprinkles and had no reaction.

I had the BEST time at Big spoon! The people there we super knowledgeable and knew exactly what was safe for me to eat. I came at the perfect time because one of their vegan ice creams that was in rotation on the menu was a s’mores flavor with vegans hot fudge and gluten free Hiram cracker! They even had this flavor in a gluten free ice cream sandwich!! I took 2 to go. Haven’t gotten sick either. 😍

I had the most enjoyable experience at Big Spoon! Only three flavors of ice cream contain gluten. I ordered a gluten free ice cream flavor and specified I have Celiac. I asked if they clean their ice cream scoopers. Immediately, the server was SO kind and washed her hands, changed her gloves, washed the ice cream scooper AND got a fresh tub of ice cream to scoop mine from.

If you have Celiac and are craving ice cream, go to Big Spoon! The BEST ice cream and the BEST customer service!
