AMAZING gluten free cider donuts! Was so nice to eat without fear of cross contamination. I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and my daughter had tummy french toast. Dedicated GF kitchen! Everything is GF. Brought home cookies to try but we are still stuffed.

We were so lucky to find this place while traveling back home to Detroit! It's so uncommon to find fully GF facilities. The owner was so kind. We sampled the BEST gluten free bread I've ever had - omg!!! Also, the little apple cider donuts are fantastic! I'm only a little gutted that this is approximately eight hours from home for me (jk I'm heartbroken). I hope this place continues to thrive!

This spot is a hidden treasure and so worth the visit! Fresh, in house made & beyond delicious! Fresh handmade chicken parm on the homemade bread was out of this world good. Do Yourself a favor and get the donuts too. Everything is GF, it’s like Christmas but even better!!! Who cares about calories today!?! No one here…

Fresh, warm, fried donut holes !! Everything we got was super tasty and very affordable. I highly recommend grabbing some goodies here. Also the guy working there (owner?) told me that the bakery’s actually open 7 days a week. 👍🏼

This is a small bakery/ cafe that has 2-3 outdoor tables and a counter to sit at. The man who was running the place was very nice. My daughter who has Celiac had a Philly cheese steak. I had a turkey cheddar panini and my husband an egg and cheese sandwich. All of us had delicious bread/ rolls. We even took two roles home. My daughter also bought six apple cider donut holes that were delicious. It’s not a sit down place. There were a lot of people that came and picked up orders while we were there.

I’ve gone several times, and they never fail to amaze me. I’ve gotten their pizza (which was amazing and freshly made), a panini, and many baked goods that have been phenomenal. The best part was their bread; it was so soft and tasty and didn’t break apart. Best part is that everything is completely gluten free!

Best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. Made fresh, perfectly seasoned. Chicken fingers, apple fritters, and cookies were also excellent. The celiac and non-celiacs in our group all enjoyed everything!

We stopped on our way to New York to get lunch for my child who is coeliac. The food was so good, we ended up ordering for all the family and everyone loved it. We also left with extra cider donuts and loaves of bread, and will make sure to stop again next time we are around Troy / Albany.

I stopped in around noon and the baker had just put out a fresh batch of the apple fritters. I ordered one for myself along with some French toast and he kindly gave my boyfriend a fritter to try as well. My French toast was delicious, we both really enjoyed our fritters, the baker was very kind and the prices were super reasonable. It’s always nice to find a safe bakery!

Finally, a place we can order food & not have anxiety over whether we might get glutened! We have tried so many menu items & every time it leaves us wanting more! Have now visited birch baked multiple times and plan to go back! It is completely gluten free and a great spot for someone with celiacs. I love that they make GF paninis, mozzarella sticks, breakfast sandwiches, pizza and so many other hot foods and baked goods. The French toast is amazing!

Birch Baked is a game-changer for those with celiac disease. Everything on the menu is gluten-free and downright delicious. From breakfast sandwiches to apple cider donut balls and fresh pretzels, they have it all. Even my non-gluten-free friends are hooked and constantly begging to go back.

No words can describe the taste, the flavor, and quality of the food. I was visiting the area and traveling with Celiac is always nerve wrecking and discouraging, as there are minimal safe options. At Birch Baked, all the worries were taken away. It was a dedicated gluten free little shop, and you would never know. The owner was personable and knowledgeable about what he was doing. The food was so delicious, even my family that does not have to eat gluten free enjoyed every bite. Oh, and also, GET THE DONUTS! Will be visiting again.

Been here a few times. Amazing donuts and a great selection of premade gluten free meals in a fridge to take home and heat up if you’re in a pinch. Amazing fresh baked gluten free bread too. Will be coming here many times in the future

Awesome GF gem in downtown Troy! Had one of the glazed donuts and a fresh breakfast sandwich and wow that was the best donut I have ever had (almost two decades GF so that’s saying something). Sadly don’t live in the area but will be back anytime I am visiting!!

What a gem! Adorable neighborhood location and lovely, helpful staff. Had apple cider, cinnamon fritters that were to die for. Bought a loaf of bread and sandwich rolls. My daughter ate the bread as soon as we got in the car, couldn’t even wait til we got it home as it was still warm! Wish we lived closer to be able to frequent this business.

This place is brand new and great. Owner says everything is gf. My non celiac boyfriend and family loved everything. The pizza crust was incredible and you could not tell it was gf. it has been the best pizza since diagnosis. i had a turkey panini. this was the first time since panera i’ve had a panini and oh man was is delicious. the bread is amazing and very flavorful sandwich. we had cookies for dessert which were delicious too. i’m so grateful to have found this gem.

Everything here is delicious! You can get food there, baked goods, and he has a freezer section with stuff you can take and bake! We have taken pizzas home and they are phenomenal! Also the apple cider donut holes are incredible! Celiac safe!

The owner was so friendly and had great information about the products. I went on a Tuesday so there wasn’t as much in the case as he said there usually is after the weekend rush. The complimentary apple cider donut hole was incredible. Definitely the best donut I’ve had in years. I got a few of those to go along with frozen pizza crusts, pretzels and a panini for lunch. The bread had a great texture. Happy to support a small local business who is trying hard to give delicious and safe options to the GF community. I will definitely be going back

Everything is 100% gluten free and delicious. It is a small little shop with only one guy doing all the work. We ordered a chicken salad panini, Buffalo chicken sandwich and mozz sticks. Everything was great - me and my non celiac wife think it might be the best gluten free bread we have ever had. It took about 20 minutes to make everything so while we waited he gave us each a complementary cinnamon doughnut fresh out of the oven - will absolutely be back next time we are in the area

Stopped in to check out this sweet little spot and the owner suggested I try one of their apple cider donut balls. They were pillows of cinnamon deliciousness. Irresistibly good. Bought some of their bread; it was a little dense but good tasting as toast for sandwiches. Their frozen pizza crust was the best gf crust I’ve tasted. Will definitely return.

Ordered gluten free cupcakes for a bridal shower and they were amazing! I was blown away at the consistency and they just tasted so yummy! Non gluten free family members who tried them thought they were fantastic too. Also got the cinnamon-y doughnut holes and they were so good. I’ll be back!

My husband and I stopped here today so I could try them out. My husband is not gluten free and is very picky about gluten free food. I hadn’t had a cider donut in 10 yrs and was so excited to have one, much less one that was so good. I bought one for my husband and he really enjoyed it as well. Their sandwich bread is delicious! My husband actually said he would eat it it is so good. I also bought some chocolate chip cookies and they were really good! The owner is very friendly and helpful, he answered all our questions and talked about what he had to offer. He gave me a couple samples. I also bought the pizza dough but haven’t tried it yet. I would totally recommend this dedicated gluten free bakery.
