This is the third time I've been to bird bakery and I've waited till now to leave a review. The cross contamination risk is high here. Every time I order a protein box it has had the wrong item in there. So when I asked them to fix it they just scrape it off and put the correct items in the SAME box. I know this because it was chicken salad that they put instead of turkey deli meat. This is 2 times now they have done this. Also, they gave very misleading information on celiac safe vs gluten intolerance safety. I really wish people in the service industry would educate themselves on this because celiac disease deserves to be taken seriously. Will not be returning.

Their gluten-free cupcakes are moist, sweet, and fluffy! Could have more gluten-free treats or cupcake flavors, but the ones they have are awesome. The flour is rice based by the way.

I agree with the review from Allison below. Everyone, including myself has had problems with the order or them backing out at the last minute. I ordered a large GF cake for a retirement and 2 weeks before I called to confirm. They had not put the order in the system. Then when we got the cake it’s consistency was very strange. It tasted good but it was off and everyone remarked on it. I won’t purchase from them again.

Well, I can not eat much of their product because I react to some amount of gluten in their products.

Limited daily baking variations offered, too few.

I have ordered from them 4 times for birthday and wedding events. There were serious mistakes made in the order every time, including preparing an entire cupcake order for a childrens birthday party that was ordered gluten free, but when my husband asked at pick up to confirm it's gluten free preparation, was told "no, its regular". They then filled a box with the gluten free cupcakes they had on hand, including 2 with peanuts which we can't have either, and not including any of the birthday child's favorite cupcakes because they were not available that day.

I have found on all 4 occasions that their business practices are ridiculously amateurish and unprofessional, impolite and careless. Why do I keep going? Because we have a serious health problems and they are the only game in town for events too large for me to bake for myself.

Anyone interested in doing a gluten free bakery right? You'd have some customers already waiting for you, and I would be thrilled to help with proper set-up of a truly gluten free bakery/kitchen.

As a person living with Celiac Disease, I was impressed to find a bakery that toted gluten free options. However, after visiting, I found that they're another fad "gluten free" establishment. All of their gluten free items are prepared in the same kitchen as their regular items, and there is a high probability of cross contamination. I was also advised not to eat there if I have a gluten intolerance, BY AN EMPLOYEE. It is such a disappointment to find, that people who actually have an autoimmune disorder are not catered to, but fad follwers are.

I'm a celiac and was reluctant to try their cupcakes when I saw them stored in the case practically touching the regular cupcakes. I went against my better judgment and tried one, and got incredibly sick.

I wish I didn't even have to give a star ....they go through all the hassle to make gluten free items and store them right next to the items with gluten....really?

I have celiac disease and bird bakery is the place for some awesome gluten free cup cakes. I eat there cup cakes ever week with no worries about CC. Keep in mind I am very very sensitive. Try the fresh strawberry cup cake. It's to die for. Best cup cake place I have ever tried.

GF cupcakes are amazing. They also can make certain things GF like a chicken salad where they give you GF crackers on the side. Great atmosphere. Cute decor. If you go at the end of day they could be low on GF cupcakes so you may call before you head over if that's what you are going for.

Was very disappointed, at 9 am they had only a non certified oatmeal cookie to offer as "gluten free". The staff actually recommended that I didn't eat it. Then I was told at there would be more selection at 10 am when they were done baking. So I can't comment on the quality of food, only they don't bother to have any ready to eat when they opened their doors in the morning. We left empty handed and went down the street to Ordersup.
