Favorite place in Napa to dine and I live here! Great with food allergies and cross contamination. I have celiac disease. Never once gotten ill. Don’t miss their salmon. It is spectacular!! Been her many many many times and it never disappoints. Occasionally you may get a new waiter who isn’t familiar yet w celiac-ask for manager if they seem confused and let the manager take over. The kitchen gets it.

Went to dinner here while visiting Napa on my honeymoon. I went off the reviews on this app but when I sat down for dinner and asked server what GF options there were he didn’t even know what gluten was. He was going through menu asking me what could be gluten free. I didn’t feel very confident so I went safe and had salad with plain piece of salmon on top.

I had a very nice dinner here. The staff and servers were aware what Celiac disease was. While the menu doesn’t mark gluten free items, my server explained all the options that were safe. It was pretty much everything except the stuffed pastas like ravioli and the French fries (shared fryer). I had the beet and haricot vert salad, which was delicious, and a sea bass special with broccolini. For desert I had the flourless chocolate cake with a decaf coffee. Everything was very good, and I enjoyed the outside seating.

Had a salad, risotto, and split both the creme brûlée and flourless chocolate cake with my husband. Delicious. Didn’t get sick. Would definitely return.

LOVE Don Gio’s! I always get the same thing every time I go. I always start with the caprese salad, which is a must while going. Then I get the pesto mandilli with gf pasta. For dessert I either get the panna cotta with an almond cookie, butterscotch pudding or creme brulee! I’ve also tried the carpaccio (minus the breadstick), the caesar salad (minus the croutons), mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, and gelato. Never gotten sick here and will always love this place!

Was so excited to try this place. Ordered the GF bolognese and my Nima found gluten in it. The owner came out and explained they are careful with cross contamination, but flour can be in the air.
I did have a Caesar salad beforehand with no croutons and was fine...

Several options including gluten free pasta and other entrees, but we ordered gf bolognese and the chicken entree and I ended up with some cross contamination symptoms.
Love this place. Ate safely. I was too full for a meal after wine tasting but had figs and prosciutto and also creme brulee. Staff was knowledgeable and great.
Knowledgable staff. Great gluten free pasta, carpaccio and creme brûlée!

Staff was super knowledgeable about what was safe. Had two pasta dishes. Zero glutening. The pasta is excellent and so are apps. It’s not a trendy restaurant but a reliable classic in Napa. Definitely coming back. Ask for a table overlooking vineyard.

I was recommended this by my Celiac cousin for my birthday dinner. Overall, I was impressed. The servers took my needs very seriously, and reassured me precautions would be made. I had the gluten free rigatoni with pesto and the butterscotch pudding (which is TO DIE FOR). I’m really happy I found a place my whole family liked and that kept me safe for my birthday dinner!
