Review of Bistro Red Beet

I had been a loyal customer for years but the service has gotten increasingly worse. I am not able to tolerate dairy so I request for the dairy to be removed from my meals and I get attitude EVERY time. The owner is especially rude about it and I have heard her complain very loudly from the kitchen. At the 2017 state fair, I ordered a Salmon melt but requested the cheese not be put on top for me and my 2 year old... But I was told that "they do not make substitutions, it is a store policy". They refused to sell me food because apparently requesting no cheese on top is considered a "substitution". I was so mad that I walked away crying. It took hours for me to walk around the fair and find food that my toddler and I could eat. This was the last straw for me. They have been repeatedly rude and unprofessional. I never give bad reviews, but unfortunately, I will not give any more of my money to the Red Beet and I will never recommend it again.
