I enjoyed 4 GF options with my friends and we ate family style even though they do not have to eat GF. We all loved every bite and they said they could not tell it was GF. We noticed that the host staff was not calling people’s names and then when someone would ask about their wait time, they said they already called them. None of that was true and we heard them do it to 3 different parties so be careful and check in with the host frequently.
The reason I ate here was because of their dedicated gluten-free fryer. We genuinely had the best chicken tenders EVER here! This is coming from somebody that lives in Metro Detroit and has been searching for this dish within a few hours of my home for years. They were so crispy and juicy. And actually tender, not tough. They were freaking amazing! The only thing that made me sad was that the fish and chips cannot be prepared gluten free. Regardless, I would come back next time I'm in town.
I loved this place! I sat at the bar, and the bartender was amazing--super knowledgeable about GF and very helpful. I got a grilled cheese with fries (always excited by a GF fryer), and it was some yummy comfort food. The cocktails were good, and the arcade games were great. :)
My friend and I sat at the bar and had the GF fried fish and chips. They came out burnt and completely overcooked and dried out! We were starving so we ate it some of our food but felt like we should have said something. $19 a piece was way too much to pay for overcooked fish. The place smelled like cleaner of some kind. I can’t recommend…. The rest of week didn’t feel well… questionable….. GF?
Really disappointed. Ordered the steak mac n cheese- my server immediately asked if it was an allergy. She told me she put gluten allergy on the item. I only had a few bites before I felt super full, and then came the stomach pains 😫 It tasted so good but I don't think it was gluten free.
My server had celiac. Super knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Loved the games!!!
Gluten free flour and dedicated fryer! Probably still need to mention you need it. Chicken fingers, fish and chips and the onion straws on the elk burger can all be gluten free. Glutenberg beer in cans. Great staff, video games, retro game themed cocktail menu, and more pub grub than you've probably had available to you in a while.
Interesting menu; food was fine - atmosphere was fun for the kids. I took an allergy pill before eating and didn't have any issues.
