Ate here maybe 2 months ago. Ordered the chicken pad Thai and the garlic edamame. Did not get sick afterwards
I ordered off of the gluten free menu and didn't have any issues.

Would not recommend for those with celiac. The items marked gluten free are nightly likely to have cross contamination and they would not use a clean cutting board and knife when asked to cut sushi rolls.
This is such a sad review to make because I used to love eating here but after 3 years of being a consistent customer I was finally told by an employee that the meals marked “gluten free” on the menu were not safe for celiac. This is extremely disappointing as I’ve told the staff every time I have gone that I have a gluten allergy and they assured me my meal would be safe. I was told some rolls were safe for celiac but I can’t justify trusting them anymore for a severe allergy.
My dad and I (both gf) really enjoyed our sushi and mongolian meatballs! Our appetizer of edamame was amazing as well.
This is one of my go to places in Lakeview. There are a few sushi and maki options and most of the fried rice options are gluten free. Cocktail are great!
This place is awesome. The GF menu is clear and diversified. The people are awesome and the food quality was excellent. It’s nice to be able to go to an Asian restaurant without having to be in a constant state of glutinous worry.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The food is delicious. I have had the Pad Thai and the Hawaiin rice with no ill effects.
I went here based on recommendations only to find that the GF designations on the menu are inaccurate. Example... Tarro fries are marked GF but fryer is not dedicated. The server knew what was up and said there were mistakes so I had to be willing to trust her.
I ended up with a bland and modified Singapore Noodles (despite being marked GF you can only have shrimp... pork is omitted because it has gluten; tofu not an optioned because it is fried) and a spicy tuna roll. I did not get sick and it was nice to try something new but the process of ordering was not reassuring.
Great service and menu options! They ask if you have allergies and are very helpful at showing what’s safe on the menu. Dairy free options too and they have mocktails!
Bites is so good and I felt safe eating here! The server immediately asked about cross-contamination and said the fryer is shared (so sadly no Taro fries for me), but I felt reassured that he knew what would be safe for celiacs. I had the seaweed salad and spicy tuna and both were amazing. They had GF soy sauce labeled in a bottle too. I’ll definitely be back here!

I’ve been here a couple times. More times prior to me being diagnosed with Celiac regardless, I have always felt safe eating their dishes and no side effects after eating/drinking there. The GF options are labeled clearly on their menu and they have GF drinks as well. They also give discounts for your birthday and anniversary if you’re on their email list so that’s A+. I frequent here for their GF chicken pad Thai.
