Update: there's been a ton of staff turnover recently, especially in the kitchen so make sure you're very clear with your ordering. Definitely had food delivered with the wrong buns and while the wait staff caught it and very helpful, the kitchen was going to reserve with a new bun not remake. So just be careful. --- Many gluten free options for food and the cider is absolutely fabulous! No reactions at all and it was all delicious. Great staff as well, very friendly and knowledgable.

This place was great! The ciders were amazing and they have a dedicated fryer for their majority Gf menu. A great little find on my trip!

I love this place! They have a dedicated fryer/the things that go in the fryer are all gf! The ciders are all gf too! It feels so nice to feel “normal” when ordering at a restaurant and have a lot of options! The owners purposely created the menu to be inclusive because they want people like us to feel at home/welcome, and boy do they deliver!

Found this place while visiting family in San Diego, North Park. It’s awesome! Gluten free FRIED fish and chips and fried shrimp - delicious! They have a designated fryer and many gluten free (and dairy free/available) items on the menu. Really cool vibe and the staff are super friendly and helpful! And the ciders - mmm, mmm!!! Can’t wait to visit again :)

Nice place with seemingly smart people. Their menu is clearly marked as to gluten, dairy and maybe a few other things.
I got fried shrimp. My partner got the meatballs. We shared the herb fries and fancy fries. The only dish we thought was spectacular was the fancy fries. The others were all good, but the gf fried shrimp from trader joes is just as good. Same with the meatballs and herb fries.
Still, if someone from work was having a get together, I'd be excited to go here because there are things I can eat, and more than one choice.

We loved this place! We got the fried shrimp, the fries and the fried chicken. And of course some cider. It was delicious and I didn’t get sick at all. Felt very safe. We love it so much we went back and got the chicken tacos two days later.

So I got the fried chicken sandwich in a lettuce wrap and it sadly tested positive for gluten with my Nima tester. I spoke with the owner and we tested the gf flour and it has a positive so she was going to call the food service that delivers to see what's up.

Cute hang out spot in North Park. Visited for a holiday event. All cider is gluten free (of course) and much of the food menu is also gluten free.

Nice atmosphere with good food and ciders. Staff was knowledgeable and items were clearly marked. The chicken wings were a bit pricey for the amount served, but enjoyed them nonetheless.

Had the wings, fried chicken (bunless) + fries, and the carnitas tacos. They were so good. The server was really helpful and knowledgeable. All the ciders are also gluten free and very tasty.

We love getting burgers here. The fryer is safe for French fries, the ciders are SO good! Plus, the potato bun doesn’t fall apart, and the fried chicken is GF.

(I’m a celiac) We got takeout from Bivouac, and the ambience was really charming and pleasant. I had spoken on the phone with one of their servers before coming (just to see what their status was on cross-contact in the kitchen), and she mentioned that her sister is also a celiac so she understood perfectly what I would need. Once we got there and re-explained the “allergy” to the people taking our order, they were very quick about it and communicated it to the kitchen, who said that using separate utensils/surfaces/etc. would be no problem at all. Their ciders are all GF and SUPER delicious!! The food was delicious too. Totally would recommend.

Very weird vibe here. The staff seemed uninterested in the difference between gluten free and celiac safe. One server told us there were bread crumbs everywhere but that certain dishes were safe anyway. Both servers seemed confused about why I wanted them to tell the kitchen that I have celiac. I don't get sick from cross contamination, just itchy, and I was damn itchy several hours later.
Also, the food wasn't great, the portions were small for the price, we had to fight over the skimpy number of water carafes they gave us, and the staff just seemed to want us gone as soon as possible. I was still hungry after my tacos and would have ordered more food, but they ignored us for a long time, then gave us the check without asking, so we left.

This place was great! Basically everything is gluten free except the buns for burgers. Although our server said there is no dedicated area for GF food prep and I'm super sensitive, I felt pretty confident I would be ok. I feel fine a day later and would totally eat here again! No cross contamination issues!

Menu is well marked and the food is delicious. The waitress was very attentive and checked on ingredients for me whenever I asked. The menu isn't marked perfectly for gluten free and dairy free, so it's worth asking questions.
I have to point out that while I was there, thanks to my questions, they discovered that the gochujang (korean red pepper paste) they were using isn't gluten free, though they thought it was. I knew to ask, because I've been glutened by gochujang before. Goes to show that it's always good to be thorough and ask them to check things. The good news is that they seemed happy to do so and didn't make me feel bad for making them talk to the chef about ingredients. The food I did get was absolutely delicious and the cider flight was tasty and a lot of fun.

I’ve eaten here several times. The staff is very knowledgeable and they can modify any sushi roll to be GF. They also have a large variety of saki :)

This is probably the best GF food I’ve ever had! Their menu is almost all GF and they have a dedicated kitchen space and fryer. The staff was very knowledgeable. They brew their own cider on site, it too was fantastic! I highly recommend this place, it’s my new favorite restaurant.
